I can imagine that this is going to turn into one of those threads that will require a liberal application of brain bleach after reading given the nature of the 7th Dimension, but whatever, I guess that's the point of making it in the first place.

I'll start:

I cry blood occasionally. Not often, but enough to take note of it.

Also, sometimes my irises will slowly morph into a different color. This happens over time, but it happens consistently and with enough of a visible difference that I notice it.

Fire away, Beast's Lair. Fire away and make me regret posting this thread.

I have a small hole in my back.

Does that count?

hrmmmm.... where to start.....

if i leave my hands de-elevated too long (like 5 sec), all my veins poke out like im on roids
my hair is dark and thick, so when i pluck/etc, it literally looks like im pulling it out of an ink pot (like it will stain shiz)

my eye goo is black, even when i DIDNT wear makeup (although that is very rare)
i scraped, just scraped (like the tips) of my knuckles, but the scab left behind is a hole, like, it fucking dips in

from time to time my fingers will lock up totally, or spazz out and fidget/twitch without me doing anything
i randomly shiver/shake for no reason

my legs/limbs frequently like to go numb from shit like sitting on part of it (with slight pressure, not my whole weight) for like 20 min
i has dry/hardened skin bumps on my arms that is a f*cking permanent thing that i cannot ever fully get rid of

i have moles on the bottoms of my feet

and this is just the tip/non-gross/shit i DUN eed to see doctor for stuff

Tobias

If I don't take fiber pills on a daily bases I will begin to poop blood in alarmingly large amounts.

Supposedly it's because of some kind of deficiency in the way my body processes the stuff, or something, a doctor could explain it better

I can't sleep if I'm on my bed. Or anywhere I've slept before. Actually, I'm just generally bad at sleeping.

Put me on a train, or a bus, in the afternoon, and I could actually just close my eyes and be asleep within half an hour. Put me in my own bed, at night, and you'll need rhinocerous tranquilisers to knock me out, because I'll lie awake for hours. Try and wake me up in the morning and you'll waste hours of your life, because I can't get up before midday if there's nothing important.

Marth
October 12th, 2011, 08:25 PM
Perhaps it has something to with movement? That is, you seem to fall asleep easier when in a vehicle of some sort.

Let's see...

~If I plug my nose and blow hard through it air leaks out of my left eye.
~I only get hungry during the night, even if I haven't eaten anything for days.
~My left ring finger can only put out a fraction of the force my right can, damaged it while playing trumpet. (Have been trying to fix that as it makes playing bass guitar tough)
~I am unable to feel warmth in the morning until my blood gets flowing (this usually involves a jog around the street).
~I have a really bad case of Ehlers Danlos syndrome.
-My tissue connecting my muscles together is extremely weak and tears without too much provocation.
-My muscles holding my joints in place are very loose so they pop out occasionally.
-There are other symptoms that I simply do not wish to go into.

More will come later, but these are all just off the top of my head.

Calcium exists in ionic form inside human bodies. Calcium channels in the cell membranes of sensitive neurons are opened by processes inside the cells so that they can travel, and the current of ions carries/creates an electrical current that propagates (along with, arguably, a soliton phonon) through the nervous system. Sodium and other substances are involved, but...yeah, calcium's involved.

Neir
October 13th, 2011, 01:20 AM
Calcium also bonds to motor units. Troponin is involved, but I'm too tired to bother with all of that right now.

I'm assumed by doctors to have Kleine-Levin Syndrome. When I was in the seventh grade right at the time of my thirteenth birthday in December, I spent most of my winter break sleeping. I don't just mean lazing about, but full-on sleeping for the entire 24 hour period. My mom would have to force me to get up and go to the bathroom or get something to eat and drink. It lasted for four weeks straight, with brief few-hour periods where I was awake and spacy. I tried to attend half days of school, but my teachers, asses they were, wouldn't help (save one), even though my grades were generally fine. Anyway, for anyone who cares, that's why I have no junior high or high school education, as I was removed from public school. I dealt with this terrible fatigue for weeks at a time for the first year, eventually getting to the point where I'd just force myself to stay up. Got back to somewhat regular functionality maybe around sixteen or seventeen, though even now I'll still have bouts where I'm just super tired all the time and, if given the chance, I'll sleep for twenty hours straight, even after only a six or seven hour day, and not feel refreshed at all afterward.

actually, I can maybe field that one. you know how you see spots and what not if your eyes get flashed by a bright light? thats actually a result of when your eyes were formed, the blood vessels that were used to create them, once the eye is finished, simply dissolve into the eye and were trapped there, the left over pieces still floating around is what you see.

that's what i figured, and spoke with. one of my roommates had his drug test redone because it looked like water. Apparently, if you hold it in even though you want to release for long enough, then you'll get more color in it, even if you're over-hydrated yourself.

Counterguardian
November 17th, 2011, 06:37 AM
Drug tests don't like your urine clear because it can dilute any drugs filtered from your system, which is one of the reasons why diuretics are a prohibited substance in professional sport.

Water-like urine denotes overhydration, while urine that looks like it could belong to Gilgamesh means you're extremely underhydrated, so there's no clear way to tell whether or not your water intake is just right based on its color. Overhydration is not really something you should be shooting for, but there are some people who compulsively drink copious amounts of water.

Apparently, if you hold it in even though you want to release for long enough, then you'll get more color in it, even if you're over-hydrated yourself.

Yes, and no. This is only a situation occurrence when the amount you drank puts you over the hydration line enough to stretch your bladder, but a small enough quantity such that you lose your state of hydration before your bladder is full, so you revert to high solute/low water urine which dilutes in the bladder. Although I would not recommend doing this due to the strain on the urethral sphincter and detrusor muscle, resulting in potential bladder incontinence.

Long story short, if your urine isn't bright gold, red, or causing excessive bubbling, you're fine.

Was directed hear by Twelveseal...time to share :3

- Since my first year of Uni (when I was 18) my jaw started to lock on my right side and pops whenever I chew something requiring too much effort (toffee; pizza crust...) I can also now 'crack' my jaw.

- Since overexerting my right wrist on the Wii (playing Bleach: Shattered Blade) in 2007/2008, I have been able to pop/'crack' said wrist.

- Despite mositurising regularly, my legs feel itchy and I've sometimes itched them pretty bad :(

- When I stand or turn about (no matter how slowly) my vision sometimes completely blacks out, sometimes for 5 or more seconds. This started when I accidentally stabbed my palm when I was 13/14 (I was cooking dinner for my bros) and my vision went black and I lost my balance and fell, while retaining consciousness.

- I get these white bursts of light that float about, sometimes making shapes and when I blink the position of the lights resets and continues to float about until it fades.

- Sometimes my hand spasms on its own, not all the time...can't remember the last time it happened.

- I can mess with TV signals that use aerials that aren't positioned properly by being in the room...and I can conduct TV signals.

- Over the counter painkillers (paracetamol; ibuprofen) don't work with me, if anything the pain gets worse.

- I'm anaemic, despite eating heaps of meat and iron-rich/b-vitamin veggies regularly.

Can't think of anything else right now...apart from what I've been alluding to in the KS thread...

- I have Retinitis Pigmentosa. Day vision is still good, but my vision at night/low light is pretty bad, so I end up tripping over/walking into things/people and getting disoriented a lot more easily.

Hehehehe...talking about condoms makes me remember this one, fairly awkward time at my last place of work...

I was the only one on duty and a guy came in hesitantly. He bought a paper; some gum and mumbled the last request. I didn't quite hear him and asked him to repeat himself. He mumbled a little louder and I realised what he needed. He gestured in the general direction of what he wanted. I placed my hand there and he shook his head. I moved my hand to the next spot and he said the other one. Feeling embarrassed myself by now, I was relieved to get the correct box...

Then I heard that some younger guys who worked at the same company but a different shop (I worked at the airport) kept opening boxes of condoms and lathering them with moisturiser and left them lying around...

Just thought I'd share some memories.
