Forgot how much 200 crunches hurt afterwards. It was okay earlier, but it's starting to sting now.

Other than AoE3?

Rise of Nations is decent, and Rise of Legends is technically fantasy and stuff but... definitely not in the usual way. It also has muskets and steampunk.

For stuff that's not technically RTS, there's World in Conflict (an RTT game) and the Total War series, which are Grand Strategy games. Of those, I recommend Medieval 2 and Rome. Napoleon is pretty good as well.
