Oh my god I fucking hate New York. Lose 2 hours of sleep a night because it's not hot enough that ac is considered obligatory but hot and humid enough that sleeping at a reasonable time and manner is fucking impossible okay sure we'll get right on it!

You live in NY?

I hate humidity.

And no it wasn't me. It was part of ~FG Twitter Drama~

Meeting offline is great though if you don't let your stuff get stolen. :o The tournaments are more like an excuse to just get together and drink. And you get to move from one hotel room to the next and challenge everyone like a martial artist challenging different dojos.

Ah, the beauties of actually possessing landscape and scenery.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18623096

The urban landscape accounts for 10.6% of England, 1.9% of Scotland, 3.6% of Northern Ireland and 4.1% of Wales.

Put another way, that means almost 93% of the UK is not urban. But even that isn't the end of the story because urban is not the same as built on.

...

In England, "78.6% of urban areas is designated as natural rather than built". Since urban only covers a tenth of the country, this means that the proportion of England's landscape which is built on is … 2.27%.

Be on painkillers after recovering from an injury. Go to festival. Get drunk. Start feeling sleepy so pop heaps of energy drinks and caffeine pills. Decide to have weed for indie band on the side stage. Start getting tired again so take E. Very cold so decide to sleep in the van you all came in, with heater on. It is shitheap so lol carbon monoxide. End up not sleeping and getting some oxygen from volunteer medics. Recover somewhat and continue to get wired with friends on a variety of narcotics. And don't refrigerate food because fucking Patrick was supposed to bring ice for the esky and fucking forgot.

It was both a painful and amazing weekend.

EDIT: Smoke inhalation and enriched oxygen obviously cancel each other out in the long run, just like depressive drugs like weed and alcohol vs stuff like Ecstasy but you just asked about how many different ways, not how they stacked together.

Wow I missed the concert fun talk.

basically dont bother with concerts of bands or people that arent known to tear shit down when they play because theres three modes of enjoying these things and thats either knowing every/every second text, doing what your fucked up body interprets as dancing hard or being in the moshpit

I got exposed to Nicki Minaj on a festival playing live and it was one of the worst concerts I've ever been to. Yes big popstars have huge budgets and stage shows but everything is planned from start to finish and basically nothing but playback. Why would anybody ever want to pay like triple the price for that compared to a band that actually does audience interaction and improvises shit on stage I don't even understand.

Depends on what level. Those probably do to some extent. Ones like local talent shows, where everyone sits around in chairs, probably don't.
I still think a true concert must have a mosh pit. But I guess if its big enough that you're actually going to see the band, then it does.

In the 1950s, Thousand Island dressing became a standard condiment, used on sandwiches and salads alike. It is widely used in fast-food restaurants and diners in America, where it is often referred to as "Special Sauce" or "Secret Sauce". An example of this is In-N-Out Burger's "Spread", served on their burgers and several "Secret Menu" items; despite its name, it is basically a variation of Thousand Island dressing.[17] Thousand Island dressing is also often used as an ingredient in a Reuben sandwich in place of Russian dressing.[18]
