Uhh why do all the games I like have stupid and annoying final bosses?? I reckon it's because there are often points of no return and those suck. I basically went into the final chapter in xenoblade X and my party members where under levelled and my skell was pretty quickly destroyed. I beat the first boss on foot- it was really hard but I pulled through. The next bit of the chapter was actually impossible with the setup of characters I had and there was nothing I could do about it. I'm actually going to fucking cry because I'm going to have to do it all fucking again. Suffice to say, I'm going to grind quite a bit because none of the story bosses have been fun at all especially BS multiple enemies with fucking death beams ;_;.

I quit human revolution on the final boss because I didn't have the electromagnetic shielding augment nor did I have the laser rifle to shoot through the glass to kill zao. At least it wont be too hard to correct my problem in xenoblade, just boring grinding (which will be more fun than that BS final chapter)

That's totally different though. Getting fucked in D&D is really fun because playing D&D is fun. I just want to see the awesome cutscenes in the last chapter, the story bosses are terrible. The gameplay is really fun and engaging against tyrants (unique enemies) and stuff because you have the freedom to approach them in the field.

The thing with the skells is that when they are destroyed you have to go to your barracks to get it repaired. Obviously can't do that when I'm past the temporary point of no return.

I read this as "Fuck this game it got hard at the end". Assuming the difficulty curve is like the first game it shouldn't be that hard. I don't recall a boss in the first one that was ever unfair and couldn't be beaten by paying attention to patterns and using the right skills.

Also why would you go into the final(hardest) part of the game underlevelled if you apparently knew you were underlevelled?

I only realised I was under levelled when I started the mission. I was actually over levelled for all the other story missions. I persisted and got past the first hurdle but the way the second encounter was designed wasn't possible for my party to beat. Basically my character was the right level (about 50) but elma, lin and my 4th party member where slightly under levelled because I have been doing loads of affinity missions for all the other characters along with lots of side missions.

Bloodborne is the only thing out now that I would personally recommend but a lot of people really liked Until Dawn.

They're the non-garbage successors to the garbage that was (and I guess now is) Shenmue. They're these weird 3d beatemup/JRPG/sandbox game mashups that take place in highly detailed settings with sidequests and storylines constantly walking the line between the dramatic and the completely insane. The combat is BRUTAL (https://youtu.be/e2nzQi0X-ZU) and feels good. The series has this weird thing where it sells so well in Japan that it'll be loaded with shittons of product placement to the point where it wraps around and ends up making the settings feel more like really ass Japan (mostly it takes place in fictionalized Kabukicho but it does go elsewhere).

I like the Yakuza.

Last vidyagames I played were The Walking Dead and Life is Strange.

Both had very similar issues that they started out really good ( or at least fairly decent ) and then the writers fucked up a perfectly good story in the ending ( yes I'm looking at you episodes 4 & 5 of TWD Season 2 and last ep of LiS, you both disappointed Polls very very much )
