I had a teacher arrested in middle school for having sexual relations with the student. But in high school, the worst teacher I had was English lit who ate bad Jamaican food during class, always called me out for not having my ID tag (which meant getting sent to the office for the rest of the class period), and never really engaged us in learning.

He accidentally got some on his journal while taking the journal out of his pocket. He licked it to figure out what it was he realized it was ashes. So he ended up accidentally eating part of his friend.

Only if he friend was cremated in that fashion. A normal crematory, according to wikipedia, has to operate a temperatures of 1400-1800 degrees Fahrenheit. Nothing organic can survive such temperatures.
