I have mixed feelings about The Woman Named Fujiko Mine. The art style was refreshingly retro and the themes a bit more mature than your average Lupin series/TV special, but I disliked how Fujiko's character development was handled. The show does raise interesting questions about her backstory and motivations; unfortunately, the last few episodes shy away from answering them.

Perhaps the writers believed that Fujiko is most appealing as an enigma.

The show doesn't "shy away" from anything, it outright subverts the tiresome cliches it initially hints at. Fujiko actually being a promiscuous thief because of childhood trauma would be the shitty direction. To have the whole thing be a red herring and Fujiko be one because she enjoys it (I.E. just like Lupin) is the brilliant turn.

If there's a problem with Fujiko it's the questionable purpose and use of Oscar, not anything to do with Fujiko herself.

If there's a problem with Fujiko it's the questionable purpose and use of Oscar, not anything to do with Fujiko herself.

I thought Oscar's purpose and use was pretty straight forward. They needed a fanatical cop to hound Fujiko, and Zenigata is both too focused on Lupin and too reasonable and levelheaded to do those kinds of things, so Oscar. And the Gayg for Zenigata thing is both to make him look even more fanatical and to provide the initial push for his obsession.

Well, that would depend on your play style. My idea of warmongering has always been "peace out until you get nukes".

I like unchecking the win conditions and just playing through the entire thing until I finally give up or get stomped by an invader. I also enjoy putting the time settings on Epic and Marathon.

I'm getting very close to 100% survey in X. At that point I think it's time to take a large break. While yes I could keep farming and building my character and skells, the time spent doing so wouldn't match with what I would be getting out of it. I still have a few missions to find in the over world to finish a couple of segments and also a bunch of weak tyrants that I can kill in 1 shot so the only real block to progression are the strongest 2 monsters in the game which I haven't attempted yet.

What if you only have regular peanut butter? Can you add cornstarch or something to thicken the mixture? Then shape a block and cut chunks of peanut butter for baking.

This becomes especially important because certain sorts of peanut butter though hydrogenated will still run in an oven and will break cohesion, so it might be important to first add something like cornstarch to limit the flow. Well, this is all hypothetical anyway.

For a quickly baked set of cookies this would certainly work, since I think peanut butter has enough heat capacity to not melt entirely if frozen.

How do they get them so, more or less, solid? Those chunks don't rub off unless sufficiently hot, and they seem to maintain their shape unlike the sort of peanut butter that you can get in a jar. The difference really appears to be in composition because there's no way that peanut butter, no matter how viscous, could remain almost solid at room temperature without the inclusion of some sort of starch.

Looking at the ingredients for Reeses peanut butter chips, they include a mixture of hydrogenated oil and sugar, consistent with those recipes. Those seem to make the mixture more stable at room temperature. Judging by this the resulting hardness of the peanut butter chunks is probably dependent on the amount of sugar added.

It'd be less homogeneous, and also have a bit of a stronger flavor. If you could get some of the brown sugar to crystallize, probably by clumping them before mixing with the peanut butter, that could be really interesting in a cookie.
