a genie appears and transports you to some strange world without offering you anything

you find yourself in some strange area. but you look around, and you see your fellow buddies from beasts lair. in fact, everyone in the room is from beasts lair

the genie then tells everyone this: you will now all fight to the death. if you die in this world, you die in real life. but you do not fight alone. each of you will summon someone to help you. that person is: a cute boy or cute girl from anime you love a lot. they are called: Waifu/Husbando. you do not get to choose them, they are picked based on your inner desires to make sure it is the one you love the most. which means even if you say "i don't have a waifu!!" (stop lying pls) your true waifu will be picked anyway

the pair that wins the war will be able to return to the normal world together (aka your waifu becomes real). it is called the holy waifu war.

who would be summoned to fight beside you in this war. who would win. (correct answer is: me (sesto))
this is an amazing premise

To elaborate, deconstruction, in the sense of literary criticism, as opposed to deconstruction as socio-political ideology, seeks to exploit flaws in existing criticism - in a sense, you can think of it as criticism criticism as well as literary criticism. The most natural way to talk about similarities and differences, for humans, is to use binaries: war and peace, light and dark, good and evil, man and woman, et cetera. Binaries, however, are a weak form of analysis since they inevitably simplify the structure of either real life or story in order to make fit within the dual structure. Deconstruction, therefore, is the process of breaking down these binaries, either by demonstrating that the critical binary oversimplifies the actual structure of the work or that the structures that the work itself sets up are nonsensical in its own context.

When I was working, I had three alarms set to span about 40 minutes worth of time, and had snooze repeat set on all of them.

And although I admit it's refreshing, it's still advisable for people to not try talking to me before about 9:30 or 10am. I am not a morning person.

Is the BDSM the thing that makes people want to read it?

- - - Updated - - -

Um, I have no words.

It's what white moms who've forgotten about erotica for a decade think is BDSM, but it's actually creepy horrible domestic abuse with a side of vaguely BDSM activities. I haven't read it or watched the movie but from reading a review of the movie in that the sex scenes weren't necessarily awful, it was literally everything else about their relationship which was centered around kinky sex in rich at least once he ignores her and punishes her for using a safeword. That's not what safewords are.

- - - Updated - - -

And just finishing my thread reviewing: we throw out books occasionally with much sadness because they're already library discards that we bought for nickels and quarters. They're reference books the internet has replaced all need for, like a nice book of synonyms and antonyms. I don't think charity needs those?

Granted I actually only saw the, yes, very creepy tampon thing? But I was referring to this review of the movie I read where this person was talking about the sex scenes as definitely not the worst part. I imagine that even the director who agreed to be tasked with this mess had to try to adapt it into something a little less what it is in the book, but I'm not sure.

Wait, she did one of those gender flip retellings?

Does she literally just do everything Stephanie Meyer does, or did Meyer copy her this time?

Usually in that case you're using the beef to create texture in the sauce or whatever, instead of looking for the texture from the beef itself. For example, I cannot stand how runny and insubstantial spaghetti sauce is on its own, but ground beef corrects the texture problem for me.

My dad said that for chili he makes with ground chuck, you have to brown the meat first. Then when it gets about 3/4 brown, remove most of the liquid. Then, brown it down a bit more. Then he used a bit of diced onions he'd precooked a bit, tomatoes, beans, and chopped jalapenos. I'm not sure what the whole order of this is, though.

Either way, pretty much any time I eat ground meat used in a sauce or stew or soup, I pretty much always would have preferred it to be whole meat chunks or slices or whatever.

Also, if your spaghetti sauce is runny you can just cook it down, which thickens it.

It's completely cooked before he adds the other stuff. Trust me, my dad undercooks nothing. And it's not mushy, so I don't know what to tell you about that one.

That's what I mean, though. This seems like normal procedure to me.

Yeah, I think most things that involve multiple steps have meat cooking first because it takes the longest to cook. I mean I guess with a slow cooker you'd put everything in at once.
also you can cook whatever else in the meat fat.

No I was saying that I don't understand why anyone wouldn't brown the meat first.

Sometimes you cook aromatics in the oil first, to infuse and develop flavor. Then they're removed (and sometimes discarded), and the meat is then browned in the now flavored oil. So, like, more taste.

Ohh, just misunderstanding then. Because my dad was saying to brown the meat first. He doesn't like anything undercooked ever. Most things we eat over overbrown to most people.

I once sent a text meant for Prix to my boss.

Thankfully, it had nothing to do with anime.

Unfortunately, it was lamenting that I'd had to work overtime for like two weeks straight.

Fortunately, so had my boss and she sent me apologetic frowny face and said she'd take me out for lunch when things settled down to make up for it.

Nothing, I think, just the name. I suppose emojis just came along during a time when people were more receptive to the idea, and they have a more "moderny" sounding name?

an emoticon is just a random thing on a site or program like :) whereas an Emoji is an actual standard so if you send someone an emoji from ios to android to email they'll still see it

Emoji (絵文字えもじ?, Japanese pronunciation: [emodʑi]) are ideograms and smileys used in electronic messages and Web pages. The characters, which are used much like ASCII emoticons or kaomojis, exist in various genres, including facial expressions, common objects, places and types of weather, and animals. Some emoji are very specific to Japanese culture, such as a bowing businessman, a face wearing a face mask, a white flower used to denote "brilliant homework",[1] or a group of emoji representing popular foods: ramen noodles, dango, onigiri, Japanese curry, and sushi.
So presumably emojis are a more specific form of emoticon. Also, while emojis are, like, coded in as a specific symbol, many emoticons are just improvised from existing characters, like o.o or ^^;;

Maybe you also get migraines? Or light sensitivity at least. I figured out a few years ago that if I am going to go see a movie in a theatre, it is imperative for me to sit where I can see the entire frame/screen without having to move my eyes. I cannot sit down close to the screen, I have to sit far enough back to see the entirety of the image. I forget how I figured this out exactly, but I eventually learned that if I had to shift my eyes to see the full image or the image was just constantly playing with no visible frame around it that I would develop migraines, where it's much, much less likely if I can see the whole screen.

I never really get them from going to the theater though, so it's kinda weird.
