Why use cheats? Getting promoted is easy and by the end of the career path you're getting paid so much money that it's no longer an issue. The only real challenge is not losing your mind trying to make sure every need is met.

Real life is the best life simulator ever.
I don't use cheats excessively (I don't think I do). Just let myself buy a nice big house without having to pay, get about a million dollars, buy all of the nice and fancy stuff, and then press play. The sliding meter bar is just for skill leveling, and making sure my Sim doesn't spontaneously combust in the middle of the park. She actually died from that and I lost a lot of progress. :(

Really I just like getting the first few things out of the way so I can actually enjoy playing the game while letting my Sims enjoy a comfortable life. If it were up to me, I honestly wouldn't let them have a job, but a lot of the personalities I form want to work so badly.

Yeah. I think its Seasons exclusive though? My Sim was in the park chatting with some dude, and I kept getting notifications like, "XX is hot, maybe she should cool down." And then 3 notifications later, my toggle vision zooms to her to see her being on fire. Now, this being the Sims, she just starts waving her arms all wild and screaming, and I'm trying to get her somewhere to cool the fuck down. This wasn't the typical fire I don't think either. After like a few seconds she goes poof!

My jaw dropped, and the guy she was chatting to broke down and started sobbing. How awkward.

fun to fuck around in once or twice, but the novelty wears off

It was fun going to Nekocon and staying in the Embassy once because it's connected to the convention center so it was just nerds running amok in the hotel 24 hours a day

Also depends on the anime convention. A small 1000-5000 person affair is gonna be different from AX is gonna be different to Japan Expo.

My experience is that you need to do it properly with friends and book a hotel, just going down and visiting by yourself is pretty bad and pointless.

Although that's probably because MCM Expo in the UK is huge attendance wise but if you're not cosplaying there's basically nothing worth going for. No good guests.
