There was an option to play with them with toys you'd buy them, but it was just a drop down menu type thing. I can't remember if it ever actually affected their mood, either, because they had a mood setting and they'd get upset if they were hungry but otherwise I couldn't really figure out how to fix it. ... I should log into neopets and feed them again.

But seriously, I want neopets but with, like, pets that are more relevant to my interests. I wanted to do Flightrising but Flightrising is super exclusive, or something.

There was a sheep thing for a bit? But that's sorta boring. I don't want only sheep.

Saber Alter is better than Medea!Saber Lily because at least her 'giving up' is a kind of giving up that is treated as such and that Saber might be driven to do. Medea!Saber Lily is either the victim of her will being utterly violated or some kind of version of Saber I do not think should exist under most circumstances. Saber is not Archer, and even Archer was doing it to an end that was double-crossing Medea and banking on Shirou being Shirou.

Exchange fic?

Fic exchanges are (usually multifandom) events that are held sometimes where there is a nominations period during which certain fandoms and characters/ships within those fandoms are nominated for consideration based on criteria rules specific to each exchange. Then, the mod of said exchange sorts through the nominations and approves them (on ao3, which is where they're usually hosted these days since it has a lot of tools for it). Then you sign up, and there are a certain number of fandoms and matching characters/ships you are allowed to request and a certain number (usually one higher) that you have to offer.

Then a sorting algorithm is run and it's manually cleaned up, and you get paired with a recipient. You get your "assignment" and you have the option of any of the fandoms and ships/characters they requested, which you are guaranteed to have "matched" on at least one of the things you agreed to write. If you want to do something else they requested, you're allowed to do that, too. But basically, you then write a fic based on the theme of the exchange and/or a letter/prompt that your recipient will generally (though it's optional but terrible if they don't give you anything but a name/pairing) provide on their sign-up form. Then you have a deadline, and you write a fic, usually 1k word minimum with no maximum, for your recipient. In turn, you will receive a fic based on your requests and letter from an anonymous author, who will be revealed about a week after the story reveals in general.

It's like Secret Santa but for fic, and it has a lot of ways to make sure that everyone matches with at least one other participant, and they happen for different reasons all year. The most famous and largest one is yuletide, which is an exchange that runs from a nomination period usually in October to reveals on Christmas. It is for "rare" fandoms based on a certain criteria. But they exist for anything and everything and there's usually at least one running every season.

I can't comment on how plausible GO Lily is, but I think that the way "Medea!Saber Lily" is presented is kind of skin-crawling. It is presented as both attractive/sexy and as a violation of Saber's consent in pretty much every imaginable way, so even if it is not literal sexual assault (except in some hentai doujin I'm sure exists) necessarily, it strikes me as a disservice to Saber to like this presentation of her character. I mean, as a plot twist, it certain makes me hate Medea more than I would have given empathy in other areas, but yeah.

(I'm not seriously arguing I'm just discussing and the arguing/fight thing was a joke.)

And my thoughts on Alter in contrast are that I also think that it's a tragic thing to happen to Saber, and I hate an end that consigns her to that fate with no escape. However, I find Saber Alter more acceptable as a turn for her character because in spite of the fact that it is a tragic end that corrupts Saber, it is less insulting to her will and person than the way I perceive Medea!Saber Lily the way people seem to fanon her, because even though it involves a Saber who has lost hope, it involves a Saber who is still actively responding to her experience of something (that being the mud that contains all the worlds evils). She might be disillusioned, but she still has a certain kind of say over what's happening to her that I think Medea!Saber Lily quite clearly lacks.

I mean, I could be wrong but you asked for my thoughts.

But more seriously, assuming you can't read the story, I think it's the most interactive aspect of TM todate. You're actually part of the story in some way in that you have a personalized set of Servants. As in this is your team. You get to, in a limited way, live out actually having a Servant.

Also being part of a community helps.
Like no one plays mobages on their own. These are supposed to be "social games," not one player ones.

So I wouldn't say the game is fun at all. It's more the interactions that come along with playing the game are fun.

At some point some dude on a motorbike parks in front of the cafe. Removal of his helmet reveals a completely shaven head. The guy is wearing a leather jacket completely covered in all sort of insignia. Most notably there's a giant Iron Cross on the right side of his chest, and on the left side a coat of arms of the fascist satellite state of Croatia from WW2. There is also a rather noticeable Confederate flag on the jacket's right sleeve.

The dude sat for some drinks with two other guys, one of whom had what appeared like a tattoo of insignia a Croatian fascist movement from WW2, along with a jacket marked with insignia of a similarly minded armed movement from the 90s war.
