By that i'm not saying that you didn't think that far, but perhaps you feel so vulnerable that you started defending yourself. I've had the feeling you described multiple times and I'm certain you know what this 'existential dread' is. Bringing the dread to the absurd and keeping in mind that you do things because they make sense to you is a decent strategy to avoid imploding from overwhelming self-doubt and all the cycle that comes with it, it has helped me at least.

In this case, I actually think it's kind of cool to read this after having seen the movies because it's answering some of my questions like "Why did so-and-so behave in this way?" when their thoughts aren't explained. It's also fascinating, like I said, that it can be so short but have so much to draw from. I'm kind of sad that no one seems to have TLed Murder Speculation 2, though.
