Aoko's gas tank is a reference to the Nasu commentary that a normal magus' circuit would run at a reasonable normal rate like a normal car. But aoko was someone with one channel but with such huge mana efficiency its better to image she could get a thousand miles off a single gallon.

And that was surprising!
