the topics of reproduction and mortality collectively exhaust upwards of 99.9% of all music that contains lyrics. this thesis attempts an experimental approach to the critique of songwriting inspired by Borges' short story Pierre Menard, Author of the Quixote, and analyses selected musical texts by tentatively attributing all authorship to a hidden cabal - known variously as the Illuminati, the League of Nations, or international Jewry - that has guided the development of human civilisation to its own sinister ends since early antiquity

I have nothing to do today so I decided to watch some more movies and just finished the director's cut of Alien. Through the later half of the movie I kept hearing these buzzing and clicking sounds coming from my window. Thought it was a fly, ignored it. When the movie ended and right as I was dozing off, well, out the corner of my eye I see this thing crawl out from the blinds and it was this giant ass stink bug.

And thus I smashed it to death with a plate and its guts got all over my windowsill.

Seriously fuck that guy.

but they seem to be NAILING it as far as I've gotten

In the sense that there's no reason it should be as good as it is and is basically a total genre shift for the series, yeah

in fact as far as the game itself goes it IS a genre switch, Mafia 1 was linear and mission based, while Mafia 2's "open" world served only to give you a routine to go to work

they have native English speakers playing a number of extras (some of the various American officials are clearly Canadian but FINE), but the American main cast member, the 3rd gen daughter of a senator, could not more obviously be a Japanese woman reading phonetically

You can't say cryptid talk and govt conspiracies aren't fun though.

Not believing in aliens is kinda sad.
True.

Pssh. We are the aliens. After destroying Mars, the rest of humanity crash landed on Earth and restarted.
We were the meteor that fell into the ocean, causing the flood, and all that jazz~ XP

Let's just say we have aliens.

But they're definitely not the reason for advancing civilization though.

Also, good thing Dan Brown tapped on Consortium theory.

As one scientist said "Conspiracy theories tend to work backwards in order to prove the present, and one common theme is that the government is covering it up".

Taking from Bible records, Jews built those pyramids. They're enslaved after all for 400 years.

That another statement just proves of an earlier civilization, it's just that it's not aliens.
I'm reluctant to take any religious record as a credible source. Considering there's been a lot of editing, revisions, and re-writing for the sake of promoting said religion. Especially reluctant to take it as credible since it is well known that Irish gods and holidays were replaced by "Saints" and they attempted to wipe everything pagan away.

As the translators of the Bible said in their preface "Their work may be flawed, but God is not."

Also, wiping everything pagan dates way back to Constantine instituting Christianity as the official religion of the empire, but then traces of it are still evident in Christmas and Easter.

Not saying they aren't.
The typemoon ones are especially awesome. >.<

Just saying some sources can't necessarily be trusted. People tend to blindly believe religious texts and forget that people had a hand in writing them. It gets altered from one to the next and some alter it severely. Even history can't necessarily be trusted because the records (sometimes) get altered by the ruling power at the time.

meanwhile, in the trustworthy secular sources
"Another tribe of Indians, called the Padaei, who live to the east of these marsh Indians, are nomadic and eat raw meat. They are said to have the following customs. If any of their compatriots -- a man or a woman -- is ill, his closest male friends (assuming that it is a man who is ill) kill him, on the grounds that if he wasted away in illness his flesh would become spoiled. He denies that he is ill, but they take no notice, kill him, and have a feast. Exactly the same procedure is followed by a woman's closest female friends when it is a woman who is ill. They sacrifice and eat anyone who reaches old age, but it is unusual for anyone to do so, because they kill everyone who falls ill before reaching old age.

Well, I'm a heretical being.
I just don't trust religions that think I should be burnt alive.

Nor do I wish to be nailed up to a cross with iron....

One thing the world agrees on though is the record of the Great Flood of the Bible, recorded in Indian and Mesopotamian myth too. Recent archaeological findings prove it too, as well as the Nephilim (highest recorded height of a Nephilim in the Bible is 10 feet in estimates, not 50.)
