This year, as always Roadbuster and I are making our annual trek to Ohayocon (http://ohayocon.org) in Columbus, OH on January 30th to February 1st.

Again, we're doing panels. I'm doing Fanfiction and Beyond, a general writing panel, Fuck Fifty Shades: How To Really Write Erotica who's title really says all you need to know, and Roadbuster and I are co-hosting a Black Lagoon and Berserk panel. We retired our Type-Moon panel last year due to burn out.

So if you're in the area, maybe we can do a meet up and hang out.

Do it Spin, do it!

(And this may be our last year there for a while. Ahem. We're going to try to do a different convention with panels next year.)

6 hour drive from here.....

Hmmm, I love anime cons, and have yet to meet up with anyone else who likes Nasu stuff IRL outside of my friend who never beat week 3 of EXTRA.

But that's one hell of a road trip.

you're weak, 12 hour road trips for the win.

Nah, I used to do 9 hours ones every Thanksgiving, it's more of whether I'll actually get out what I put in.

There is going to be a Fate/Stay Night Panel there hosted by Epic Panels.

They do a pretty decent panel even if they "bro up" Shirou a bit too much.

I wasn't aware 'bro' had become a verb. Bro, bras, brat, bramus, bratis, brant?

If it's not, it should be.

Last year when I went to their panel they kept talking about how Shirou was a Bro and completely missed the distortion of his personality.

Casuals missing the point of characters

what is this, bl?

Elf

Worse off they didn't even know what BL was.

They did read the VN though.

What was really funny was when they attempted to talk about Tsukhime and sort of fucked up and when they simply skimped over Prisma because they didn't wanna talk about it. (There was a slide because the con's theme last year was Magical Girls.)

Just because you're culturally inferior Chris doesn't mean you have to over compensate so much.

I dunno...

Denmark gave the world Legos, while Sweden gave us kidnapping personality disorders.
