I thought the first battle in the story was that the Alliance was stuck in port in Fezzan and they wanted them to gtfo before the Empire arrived and started a battle there. Might have been backwards with the characters (as in Reinhard was stuck). Which slowly added on to the point that maybe Fezzan was slowly siding with the Empire that went on throughout the first and second season. But yeah I was just writing in the middle of the ep and was surprised as I thought the battle of Astarte was that prequel battle. But yeah I guess I just don't remember all the names of the battles because I haven't watched this series since like 10 years ago.
And I agree they are more faithful, its just I always really liked Obersteins design in that he actually does look like a guy everyone would be super suspicous of and everyone hates.
I do have to say that Reunthal looks more like a guy who would get drunk and pick fights now though lol and doesn't look completely out of place doing so like in the older version. But I felt his older design was more... charismatic?

Lupin part V, the world's greatest thief versus social media.
-
Lupin starts off with a Mission Impossible episode. I love it.
I tried 3D Kanojo: Real Girl. It feels like it wants to be a less absurd version of Hajimete no Gal, but there's almost no comedy in it at all. The only chuckle I got was at the final line, where she says she's moving away in six months. As is, it's just kinda depressing. And it feels really otaku pandering as well.

After Aikatsu marathon, I'm positively pumped up for Aikatsu Friends.
-
I really do like the new LoGH; it's very true to the books, has an artistic style that's both fresh and familiar, and it looks gorgeous. I hope the quality keeps up.

Cybernetic boxing, dystopian future and a Junk Dog aiming for the top.
You've got my attention now Megalo Box.
-
Aikatsu Friends looks much less intense than Aikatsu Stars and no less fun than its predecessors. Good stuff.
-
Tadakoi was fun, it's not so over the the top rom com.
basically it's new Nozaki-kun because
-same OP singer
-main guy voiced by Nakamura
-main girl is new VA and sings for ED
-Doga Kobo

A little late to the party, but "Space Battleship Tiramisu" had me cracking up and wanting more. :D

It's either my eyes deceiving me or TnM became better at making talking heads scenes. Or actually using space and framing.
Gokumi had to sacrifice drawing faces for that, tho.
-
TnM was always good. 2nd cour is starting great and I can't wait for future developments.

Chibi-02 was surprisingly a QT.
And that certainly explains why Hiro didn't remember Mitsuru's promise.
Overall, good episode.

its nice to hear Eir Aoi again
-
Man, DarliFra is truly a great show. I have such a great time with every episode

Megalo Box really feels like it was made in the 90's. It's got very few sharp lines, no noticeable CG, and the tail lights all have Akira levels of trails.
-
Catching up on anime, good episode of Grancrest. RIP Rebecca though, Priscilla was too far away. Also lol that Aishela and co. are suddenly relevant again, but I'm certainly not complaining.

Wow, Mahou Shoujo Site is bad. A third of the way though the episode and MC is still a more an object than a character. I get that they want to show she's a doormat, but why say nothing but that for seven minutes? Even the tease of magical girl gun fights isn't enough to tempt me through that slog.

oh hey Rise Kujikawa made her comeback
