Not sure if this is the right place, but they've rebooted (remade?) the Lethal Weapon movies, only now it's an episodic series. And starring whatshisface from My Wife and Kids as Murtagh, and some other guy I've never heard of as Riggs.
I watched the first four episodes on a flight, and then watched the original four movies later, and I thought they'd done a really good job remaking the series. It doesn't stick obnoxiously to the movies' plotlines and characters like a lot of reboots do, and it does enough differently that it feels like a new take on the characters, which is why Ifeel justified in calling it a remake instead of a reboot. I really like how the series has been brought out of the 80s and 90s, and the actors work well enough together that they feel believable, but they're not trying to be Mel Gibson and Danny Glover.
Yeah, I think I like it.
