That's true, it's why you see spider lilies in Scathach's art and why they pop up in Tokyo Ghoul.

I think Kiara has some on her robes as well.

Whoever said that got confused as it's the Red Spider Lily that symbolises death, not the Tiger Lily. But I dunno which appears in IBO as it's been too long since I've watched it lol.
Ending spoilers
While I always see a lot of people wanting a Prequel focusing on the Calamity War, I'd prefer a sequel series. Not a direct one a la Zeta/ZZ but with so much good world building and Gundam frames left untouched I could totally see a new series being set in that world.
I just wanna reiterate that Gundam Wargreymon is my favorite gundam design. I'm still waiting for them to make it playable in Gundam vs Gundam.
Wow can't believe Attack on Titan has ended
rest in potatoes
lol f for the editor

Ishiyama be like "Sorry Editor-san, we can't postpone this any longer. Off you go."
It isn't an oh my god level, its pretty common throughout anime and manga as a visual motif. Wallpaper creators love putting it with any title or character related to death.

Really just google "spider lily anime" and you'll find a fuckton
I'm sorry, it's just I didn't know and seeing them shocked me.
I watched Uchiage Hanabi and... I'm still not sure what exactly I watched and so I don't even know what to think about it. It certainly exceeded my expectations, in being one of the most bizarre films I've seen in a long, long time. The music was really nice though of course.
I give it a Daoko/10.
Watched the 2000s Makai Tensho movie. Lack of Gracia saddens me.
That line I won't let go past. You absolutely do not have that right if you're making this judgment based off how the show ends.
Okada and the director was in direct confrontation over the ending. The director wanted to go full on edge with having everyone in Tekkadan dead to drive in the message of Tekkadan's rapid expansion reading to its downfall. Okada wanted something happier, and the ending they managed to get was a compromise. Frankly, if Okada had full reign over the ending it might be too sappy and forgettable, so the middle ground they settled on was ideal imo, where things seem to have ended pretty badly at first glance but the details are fairly uplifting (some previous post in this thread addressed it p' well i thought). However, it is also the case that Okada and the director having to collaborate made several things messy. Mika's characterization was very confusing and divided and I couldn't understand where they were going with him until this last episode (hence why it redeemed the show for me actually) and that is likely because neither the writer or the director had complete control over the show.
Okada is not a particularly respectable writer. Hell she's not even a good one most of the time. But she made a very respectable attempt at a Gundam show and I won't let this particular show make people dismiss Okada for being a hack (which she is but still).
Then which show should make people call her a hack?
I loved the first season, but the way the second half of the second season just changes tone and charges full speed towards that ending, there's no way to not notice that. I admit that when I wrote that, I was still in shock after watching the last episode, so yeah, calling her a hack wasn't that nice, and I regret it. Still, I don't think the show should have ended the way it did.
