All these attempts to make Nobu useless are making me sad.
If it was no joke Nobu then she'll prob goes full power at the get go, no holds barred , but alas.
I dunno why this one would even be called into question:
Nobu would defeat Artoria,
Then be told that by destroying the cash cow no Guda Guda anime will ever be made,
And fall into despair, go on a rampage,
And then have to be stabbed by Mitsuhide
Zehi mo nashi ne
Took the words right out of my mouth - er, fingers.
Honestly, I wouldn't even say she CAN'T beat Saber. I'm just saying I think Saber has a good chance of still winning in spite of Nobunaga's advantages.
And Gilgamesh's whole gimmick is "I am the strongest Heroic Spirit of all" and he still loses in all three routes.
Fixed that for you.
Obviously some dude with a bunch of muskets and the ability to set really magical people (and himself) on fire isn't gonna win against the guy who's basically the Goku euivalent of the mythology that makes DBZ look like the pale, skinny kid who keeps getting beaten up by his twelve year old sister. Did you seriously think Nobunaga- and I mean this with all fondness for our musket-spamming lunatic version- the guy whose legend was "almost but not quite conquered part of a small island nation, burned down temples and started making guns" would win against freaking Karna?
Likewise, he probably doesn't have a good chance against a) the guy who owns 99.9999% of all the world's weaponry and has near-omniscience when he feels like it, b) the chick who's basically the beginning of the modern age, with the anti-army NP that's literally just a sheath for her bigger, badder weapon, and precognition, and c) that guy with the bloody axe, i can't remember his name, but he is famous for his legend of having a bloody axe, the man whose axe was covered in blood.
I don't doubt that Nobunaga would be the absolute worst possible opponent for a lot of heroes, but learn to pick your opponents.
I feel like there's a difference between "guy who should never lose loses due to narrative reasons" and "person who's designed to theoretically beat old and powerful servants doesn't beat old and powerful servants in theoretical match-up"
I mean, is this any different than the whole "ya nasu said that Kayneth has the advantage over Alba, but MAYBE it's a tough match up anyway!" Thing from earlier?
Hello. I've gone back about ten pages and haven't seen the inevitable Sigurd vs Arthur argument. I'm so sure it exists I'll just ask for a link, thank you.
Over who wears glasses better? Sigurd, definitely.
Black Rose Sigurd when
Sigurd has the Megane Reactor Core, that's not even fair.
Lots of crystallization of wisdom memes already
NTRthur does have a better sword...
