Because 200x200 avatars almost always end up being 80-90kb.
and because I don' want to have to keep removing key frames/color quality from my animated avis
Seriously a massive peeve of mine whenever I don a new avatar.
If you make a standard 200x200 .png they will always come out in the 80-95 kb field.
So then you have to compress it/change its resolution in order for it to not lose its transparency to the vBulletin compression system.
This simple change would fix that.
Now, let's watch Neir defend his "No" vote!
My avatar is going to do what she does to asses to your ass
dry
Only if animated avatars are simultaneously banned.
Noh
Blackfield voted yes, so clearly the correct answer is no.
^^ Hence no vote. :p
Why would we want this again?
No.
Remove all avatars, signatures, genders, titles, postcounts, join dates, usernames- they are all extraneous. Return BL to the chaos. It will be better that way.
As long as the change doesn't end up breaking some critical and important part of the site I'm all for it.
