You can photoshop L on your own.
Akiha, you pretty but why so angry. ;_;
"Your princess is in another mansion!"
Are you using a vector linework layer? From what I can see, your strokes are very wobbly, and that might help in keeping them smooth.
With a mouse or a tablet?
Tablet. Wacom Pen, or something.
Damn youuuu!
I want your things >_<
I thought that GIMP had a convenient stroking system with adjustable control points. I was going to suggest that you use those to improve on your rough sketches, after using them to get the guidelines in place.
I dunno. It probably does, but so far I've only been using the paintbrush tool for lines and stuff.
Sai is good program too.
And not free!
Seriously, don't pirate it.
I think he's encouraging piracy.
...Wait, what? It's free now?
I never got it before because it used to cost money and stuff.

Or is it just a trial version?
It isn't free?
I feel bad now...
Don't pirate it then.
I guess it was my mistake.
A friend got it for me some time ago ya see?
He didn't pay for anything, so I assumed it was free at the time.
The english version's available to download for free as a trial, but you have to go to the convoluted process of buying the japanese version for its license before being able to unlock the full version, so alot of people just straight up pirate it, really.
As for the lines, GIMP's pathing tool is okay, but I don't recommend you use it since you have a tablet. It's harder to improve your steadiness if you use paths for your strokes, after all. (It's also less satisfying imo, I say that because I worked with CorelDRAW for a couple o' months.)
