Do you have an idea? A setting? What you want to write? This is important. Posting a brief synopsis/idea will help you to get someone interested. Just saying.
Why isn't this thread stickied again?
Alright, I need someone now please, heavy OC warning though, 2400 words, almost nothing happens yet.

Already posted. Though I will probably use this thread in the near future again.
And so the thread becomes a labyrinth of people asking for betas.
Well, I'd like a beta for Master's of Death, because for the love of God I really cannot characterize Rin for whatever reason. Also for providing casual conversation, having a nice flow to the story, and for opinions on future plots.
I would offer my beta services (grammar and spelling), but I'm a bit busy beta-ing someone from FF.net whose fic is super, super long.
working on a bit of a project, could use a second opinion/some help with writing dialogue, most of it involving Rin, PM if interested.
I also need a Beta reader because I have issues with tenses and grammar. My story is Severed Bonds (Madoka/FSN). Feel free to PM me for more details.
To make things easier on all would-be fanfiction writers this has now been stickied for your convenience.
Now then, masses of the forum, with this as your guiding tool strive to write the best that you can write!
Can beta, if you're willing to put up with slowness. No chapters exceeding 6k words in length.
Series familiar with:
Dragon Ball/Z
Sailor Moon (Manga continuity)
Ranma 1/2 (Manga continuity)
Inuyasha (Manga continuity)
Fate/Stay Night, Zero, and EXTRA
Fire Emblem (Archanea, Elibe, Magvel, and Tellius continuities)
Also various video games.
Congratulations, now you've ensured that no one will ever use this thread! :)
Also I'm available as a beta reader for anyone who requests it, although my skills are limited to grammar, spelling, and the occasional flow fix.
I too also happen to be available for betaing, as well. And likely be in the market for one in the near-future if I can't convince my usual suspect to do it.
<< Junior year in highschool
yeah, no betaing happening here D:
I'm available for betaing.
Okay, I have a request for a beta, at least someone that would be willing to help me with an original series of fiction. To use incorrect terminology (dang it, Japan, why did you have to make me think that?!)... I'm going to be working on a Light Novel series of at least 4 volumes per story arc (I plan on working on 8 story arcs at least).
Yes, I'm aware that Light Novels are only an Asia thing, but the idea was too good to pass up on my end. If anyone wishes to help me, I don't expect much from whoever decides to help, just standard trouble-shooting and whatever else might be needed at least.
Uh... how about you start with a one-shot? That's what the manga authors usually do, after all. A one-shot would be a better way to introduce the setting and idea of your story and simultaneously get reactions than embarking upon a multi-novel epic right off the bat. Plus, you don't really need to call it a Light Novel when Novel works just fine. I'm pretty sure the only difference between the two is that Light Novels have occasional anime/manga style illustrations while novels are all letters, so really, it would be a series of Novels unless you've already secured an artist.
Also, if you're trying to make a professional product, you actually want a professional editor instead of a random internet berk.
