Actually I feel DEEN/stay night is superior to ufotable blade works in some ways as an adaptation tbh... but yeah you understand my sentiments.
Also I forgot about the Gochuumon Dear My Sister thing. Definitely wanna watch that too.

I don't think I've seriously followed anime in.. what a year?
Truly. What has become of me.
Probably have a fair bit to catch up on. Some of this season seems interesting.
Mahoutsukai no Yome
Dies Irae
Umaru - not sure
UQ Holder - when was the last good Ken Akamatsu anime?
Net-juu no susume
Boku no Kanojo
Osake wa Fuufu ni Natte Kara
It-It's not like I go for vapid romcom or anything!
There never was one to begin with? Even the Negima OVA, the best part of the whole chain of failed efforts, suffered from being totally out of context in their own. You couldn't understand them without reading the whole manga to that point, but then, if you'd already read the manga, there wasn't much appeal in looking at the same thing all over again, just now incomplete and with 'mostly good, but not that excellent' animation.
Remember when Shinbo made his own VERSION of Negima?
oh btw
Just began Washio chapter and I just remembered. Yuki Yuna has the same music team as Nier Automata.
It's pretty obvious that Monaca did the OST to both Yuki Yuna and Nier Automata but I did a double take when I saw that they did the songs for Wake Up Girls! too. So I'm definitely watching both Monaca OST anime this season.
Also I saw Wake Up Girls! live at AX and am obligated to watch everything Wake Up Girls!

Did someone ask for mass produced magical girl stormtroopers?

I sure hope she survives her novel and makes an appearance in season 2
Well that's the thing it was years since I seen the original series so I completely forgot its OST!
reminder monaca also did the OST for last year's aoty ping pong girls
it begins
Juuni Taisen had a good 1st episode.
Spoiler:
Cute drinking show is too fast for me to appreciate the cuteness.
Juuni Taisen's first episode looked and sounded pretty good, but its plot felt kinda so-so. Not really surprised at the "twist", though.
my Fall anime started with Gintama and Osomatsu.
I'm dead by all those memes.
To anyone planning to watch Shokugeki S3:
Go to the seven seas and watch the latest OVA (S2 OVA 2. OVA 4 if we're including S1 OVAs). It's canon and S3 episode 1 assumes you've watched it. They do a recap of the most important points through Souma and Megumi, but it'll feel better if you watch the OVA
UQ Holder doesn't look terrible yet. Or even horrifically generic. I hope they can do the manga justice.
Black Clover is just Naruto. Beat for fucking beat. I bet MC has some demon sealed in him too and thats why he has shit magic.
Edit: Oh fuck those are terrible CGI chains. Almost Handshakers level bad. And there's the demon.
Soma is Soma. Although why does a school focused entirely on cooking have basketball?
Drunk wife anime is cute but too short. It'll be nice to get new drink recipes though.
Sengoku Night Blood is Twilight in feudal Japan. It's sad that knowing nothing about it I had it pegged the first time I saw the characters ears.
Junni Taisen was strange. I could tell from the beginning that the narrator was going to die, just because of her generic villain attitude. The fact they just throw in a mention about magic as a casual aside was a little strange, but everything else was standard. A corpse in the gathering room during a death game is never dead. If the Narrator shifts every episode this could be pretty good. Have a Rashamon thing going, with each character dying at the end of their episode and each getting a little father into the main plot.
From what I can see, Sengoku Night Blood appears to suffer from the same issue as Servamp. Little to no female characters.
I don't know what you guys expected from an otome kusoge adaptation
Yeah, I don't think anyone was expecting Night Blood to be that great. Still hoping Code:Realize manages to be a more interesting Otome adaptation, as the premise looked promising at least...
