I've decided not to go with it, but what would the rules deem on combining a phantom with an existing servant? I thought about combining Heathcliff and Dantes.
The greatest obstacle to writing my sheet is deciding if I'm willing to reread a book I hate.
We've had people way less famous than these phantoms show up as established heroic spirits. I'd be lying if I told you I met a single person in my life who knew of Helena Blavatsky. So I wouldn't say...
A thought for the future, have the winner give you a prompt immediately, with the right to change the prompt if they choose during the month between the end of one contest and the beginning of the...
Wew time to vote

Loved it to death. Cursed libraries, mysterious bookkeepers, malicious cute familiars, mail-order curses, I'm a sucker for the whole package and it's...
How long does voting last? Still gotta read all the last minute sheets.
And about an hour later I think I'm finally done editing. The site being down was making me sweat over that deadline.
There's definitely still some fleshing out to do, and I need to try and make it flow together, but I wanted to get the bulk written down while I was concentrating.
Time I finally at least get a draft out, it's way too easy to just be lazy.

Would a member of the Church qualify for this contest? What I had in mind uses some magecraft but is primarily on the sacrament side of magic.
I like that prompt, I hope I can actually think of something to enter. I've wrung out almost every mage idea I had left over the last couple years for my own personal autism.
My votes were mostly based, besides quality of writing, on how well they took the character and did something both creative yet true to their "real" version. Mehmed ended up making the list for me...

A lot of cool stuff here, it was hard to choose.
Thanks for the advice the other day, everyone. It's not exactly what I was wanting but it's about what I expected to hear. I understand it's a huge undertaking, and that there's simply too many...
So a year or maybe a little more ago I started reworking an idea of mine to create a gigantic Grail War scenario, consisting of 50 Masters and 50 Servants. I've created character sheets for all those...
Thank you for the welcome, and I thought the sheet was pretty interesting when I read it this morning. I have an entire pastebin dedicated to my struggles in making OC servants that aren't shit, so...
Oh wow, I hadn't read the other entries yet. I hadn't even realized somebody made a Mehmed for this.
Finished making edits to my sheet, tweaked his skills a little bit and added a little on personality mostly.
It's not the pastebin thing, but it's related to it. It was sort of the predecessor of it, the scenario that led into it. I also wasn't aware anyone here knew about the pastebin.
You're not wrong. I've lurked before but I never signed up. This seemed fun, and good practice. And thank you for the advice, I'll see about some edits when I finish the entry later. I see what you...
Hello there, I'm not used to this sort of thing but I thought I'd give it a try. I'm doing a retool of a Saber I used for a long-dead idea of mine.
-"Oh, heaven help me. What kind of lousy Master...
