Amazing and heartfelt. This I feel is how Shirou would have become a heroic spirit. I feel that the last part with Rin and her family really made things come full circle.

Well, the genders may be swapped but the I assume the personalities won't take too much of a hit. Nonetheless, Saber is male so chivalry. Probably be some Fate/stay in the kitchen byplay but...

My main 3 are shinji, lancer, and archer. Can't decide which primary, secondary, and tertiary but I'll be supporting these for sure.
