We sometimes get quality of life and mechanical changes early so I actually think it's pretty likely.
The Mahoyo VN was actually in the remake continuity from the start, it came out after the remake was announced.

Aoko. Really all three of the Mahoyo gang are pretty tied at the top, but Aoko stands just a hair higher than Alice and Soujuurou.

Oh wow I just stopped to really look at it, and noticed her redshift outfit is different than the one in Mahoyo. I prefer the Mahoyo one I think.
Aoko shoving this destruction into the future like she did Soujuurou's death makes sense.

I think these are his only mentions. The last one indicates that, if Mahoyo 3 is about fighting him, it happens in the late 90s. That's only a couple years before this event's setting (2001).
Gazamy is locked up beneath London, and Nasu once told Sanda that Carillon Observatory would be in a Mahoyo sequel, so I kind of assumed he'd appear then.

I said it in the Mahoyo thread too but I assume Soujuurou's NP is teasing something from one of the sequels. The Mahoyo material book says that Aoko's decisive battle will be in "snowy ruins"....
