They have made use of Dagon and the fish people's model at appropriate times. Besides, if they have time these bonuses are also possible. Not sure how much time they have for the Mahoyo collab though

You gotta put resources in stuff that can make money (make people roll the gatcha), so when there are time restrictions, the bonus parts have to go.

Or just an alternative colored Woodwose like suggested for both story and battle sprites.

Just copy and paste Lugh's looks from Mahoyo. Should take less effort than drawing a new one.
