This is not a lead-off to rehash old argument just to clarify my own understanding of the Nasuverse. I was not under the impression that I was banned from asking simple questions about the end of the Fourth Holy Grail War.

That's a translation error. I guess koto was right.
your bolded part is supposed to be "due to a single, faulty seed sown in the past,"だがしかし、ソレが完全に閉ざされるまでの間、孔の向こう側から溢れ出る黒い泥を押し留めることは、もうど うやっても不可能だった。 本来ならばそれは、この世界から『外』への突破口を穿つためだけに使われる無属性の力であるは ずだった。 だがかつて蒔かれたひとつの過ちの種が、ソレをすべて余すところなく漆黒の呪いの色に染めていた。

Ok, makes sense. That had me a little confused there.
Why would Shiki(Tohno) and Shirou not get along if they met each other?
Because the harem plan was an abject failure.
Because the author said so

It's like how Cu and EMIYA don't get along. Differing perspective on how to carry oneself and worldviews.
Shiki: Your swords have a lack of desire to live in them.
Shirou: Unfortunately I don't have such desires. But what about it? The one who chose to fight will die? Hah, don't make me laugh. If you don't fight, no results will happen anyway. You can feed your meaningless will to live to a bunch of cats.
Shiki: A CAT IS FINE TOO YOU KNOW
Localizationing stuff
Maybe somewhat stupid question
Between his super destructive rimg of light NP, his Demon Pillars stopping earth rotation, and mucking up with key history moments
Why solomon do all this
Like
Isnt doing just 1 enough to make humanity go boom
Why go all the trouble to grant grail to certain individual at a certain time in history when he can just blast everything anyway
Can amyone enlighten me

Maybe he got so frustrated he couldn't get that one 5 star that he decided the world was better off dead?
Isn't the idea that he's super disappointed in humanity and set up the grails in the singularities to properly burn away all of human history? Making everything go boom in one instance just isn't enough for him.

Currently betting on him being a good guy all along, yeah.
Is there going to be a Twice-moment near the end where Solomon lectures us for thirty minutes about how humanity is at the end of its rope, and he's totally right about everything? Or did that already happen in London?
Solomon will monologue for 1000kb straight at the end of the last chapter
