I had the impression that they were using that term when talking about how Enuma Elish works, as in how exactly did it show the "truth" -> show Gaia's reality marble (???). The replies to that topic gave me even more ???.
They're using that term to try and make sense out of what we normally just call reality.
I think it's a popular idea because ORT has a Reality Marble-like effect and a lot of people seem to think the Types are actually planet consciousnesses rather than apex existences from planets, so obviously if ORT has one Gaia must have a RM-like thing too!

Does using the Archer class card in Kaleid give you UBW to pull swords out of, or are they actually making swords like (I can only assume) magi normally do?
Or should I not think and look at all that exposed skin?

Well, they could make them (swords) with a furnace, hammer, and all that- but I doubt it. Such hot, heavy work is for the plebes, not our Classy Magi Overlords.
