Yeah, because it makes sense that a girl violated and broken for the majority of her life is totally okay all the time regardless to the sacrifices others have made for her when the entirety of her character arc was accepting that yes, in fact, others did sacrifice for her to care for her, and that the one brief moment in time we see her years later isn't at all influenced by the relative calm they do have and getting to see one of those people that cares about her after an absence. Totes.

I think the more pertinent counterpoint is that it's obvious to anyone that in that ending, she pushes herself precisely because of things plaguing her mind.

It's kind of all laid out in the ending. She has plans to better use her time than becoming a neurotic wreck.

My bad. Nasu showed us she's happy and forced a situation in which she has to reveal her true feelings and says she's happy in a very strong and happy manner (certainly nothing forced).

She bows to wait Shirou' return in a demented way each day of her life because he promised to watch some flowers with her. She's as sad and crazy as she can get because she loves him and he's dead.
THERE we see a broken Sakura.

When she dies it appears they reunite. But until then it's one of the saddest endings.

That's... exactly what I said. In the Normal End she falls into depression and lives out her life as a neurotic wreck/crazy cat lady and works all the angst out of her system so that she can have her happy end in HF True.

Emiya actually does have multiple lives, you see him die to Gilgamesh in the castle, but then he revived himself for the final battle, it was all in the anime

That wasn't Emiya, that was Eminya, a Shirou that contracted with Alanya to save every purrson within his sight.

No he doesn't, he just has EX Presence Concealment and Battle Continuation that somehow got left off his stat sheet.
