Actually it was Shirou who was designed to fill a niche.
Of course not.
The "Totally of age" food allegory porn was pure.
It was undiluted. It was true.
Not this subliminal filth. This corruption of intellectual enlightenment.

Don't forget the "she looks 14 but she's actually 28, we swear she's legal" niche.
Edit: Just to be clear, I do think Saber is an interesting character, even if her character arc suffers from execution issues. She just also happens to be deliberately-designed spank fodder.
Just something I'm wondering, but in Beowulf's fight with Li did he fight him with his swords and didn't activate GB. Also can get some clarification on how the fight ended? From some sources says that Li won but from others it was a draw, any help with that?

IIRC Li won because Bajiquan was designed to fight Humans, while Beo's fighting style is more like"punch it till its dead"
By which i assume that while Beo was punching hard wherever he could, stomach, head, chest, Li was specifically aiming for joints, knockout buttons, organs that cripple your ability to fight.
Li barely won and Beo managed to stay until the finale. It was more of a thematic battle than anything with Training and Technique triumphing over Raw Strength and Brutality. Neither of them were armed either.
Got it. Hm does anyone know how strong Beowulf is lore-wise anyway. He's a pretty iconic hero and from his profile he seems that he would like to fight both Heracles and Achilles, who are both OP Servants. His NPs and skills are pretty buff as well. But he doesn't actually seem that strong from his story interactions though from what i can gather from his fights with Li and Martha. Is he really not as strong as it was implied or is his he just suffering the Cu treatment?

So is it safe to say that he was using Grendal Buster then?
