Sorcerers, like magi, are long-lived. With life-prolonging magic, a life span of centuries or even millennia is not unattainable. Still, all things must have an end. Then, does the death of a Sorcerer mean the death of the Sorcery? On the contrary, Sorcery is passed on to the successor of the next generation and does not disappear. If Sorcery were to die, it would only be when it could be realised by normal means.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's what you said. If it was making improvements to civilization, might as well just give them Pioneer.

Improving civilization is a form of humanity overcoming great difficulties, but not all forms of overcoming difficulties are just merely the improvement of civilization.

That is why you have Scathach, a human who became immortal through constant slaying of gods, etc., as a Star attribute.

I'd say that the end of the war gave France the time needed to set the stage for the French Renaissance. In Extella terms though, probably kept the world from being pruned due to a superpower England during that time period.
