We always knew it worked with thrown weapons, Ryougi throws her hidden arm compartment knife and cut through Araya's barrier in movie 5
The question was how long distance can you get, cuz technically, the Meodp user isnt touching the bullet being fired from the gun, would it work?
The answer to that was in Melty Blood manga, where it seems that MEoDP works even if Tohno Shiki is holding Sion which is holding a gun which is firing a bullet.
wait, so if a MEoDP user tells a guy to stab something "exactly at this point" and not stabbing it himself, it would still die then?
I forget, can a human 'ascend' to a magical or phantasmal beast/whatever status?
Like I forget if dead apostles count as either, I know vampires like the one in lab count as phantasmal.
With the way the keep adding shit to gils vault, soon he will have the root in it.
Life is short, we don't need to shitpost at eachother about nasu.
wait wait wait, but isn't Melty Blood Manga canon? I thought it was just a spin off...
As for Rakkyo Movie 5, yeah I totally forgot about that from the sheer epicness
Maybe the eyes work on a sort of Schroedinger's cat uncertainty principle? The lines are only relevant when observed by one with the MEoDP? Just to be clearly, I know virtually nothing of Tsukihime and only watched the KnK movies, so I'm working off very little data, but it seems likely, otherwise, how many people/objects would've mysteriously fallen apart each day by dumb luck of something hitting the lines?
I found something that my become relevant about Saint Germain: In Theosophy, he is supposed to be one of the Ascended Masters or Masters of the Ancient Wisdom. Is there anything in Helena appearance throught GO that tells us what they are in nasuverse or give us a clue? One disciple of her said they both met in person while Olcott that he possesed her several times (I kinda want to see that meeting in nasuverse though lol)
So I read a passage in Fate/Apocrypha Volume 2 and this stood out to me.
Do you find out later who killed Jack in the novels? After killing several prostitutes, she then died. It wasn’t due to any significant reason. A certain magus merely noticed that the bizarre murders were crimes done by a demonic being and promptly dealt with her.
Spoiler:
Good to know. But I always see the argument of what's the range/who can effect the lines, like Sion with the Barrel Replica and Shiki throwing knives and stuff, so what I'm sorta getting at is that, once you've got the per-requisite MEoDP user in range/line of sight, the lines then exist, after which, who/what triggers them becomes kind of irrelevant.
Then, the next question is... What happens when MEoDP users close their eyes? Obviously I am not talking about Ryougi who can turn off and on her MEoDP...
Or let's take it into extreme case... If the users become blind, do the lines and dots still exist perceived as something else?
Like "vibration of death" via hearing sense perhaps
The lines only exist as a concept that the person who perceives the lines can interact with. Because they're not actually seeing lines, but the inevitable death of something, which their brains interpret as lines.
Having Shiki trying to guide you to interact with it would be like telling a blind person what color looks like, or a deaf person what sound is like, or Toby what a world without puns is.
