So I now want to start Tsukihime but have some issues with my PC and can't play the visual novel, is the manga still a good choice then, will I miss a lot of things? I heard there are multiple routes in the VN, so I'm a little afraid to start the manga for nothing

The manga's a great adaptation of the Near Side routes, but you miss out on most of the Far Side stuff. There's always the Tsukihime LP, but I hope you like jokes if you go with it.

well there are a lot of uses for photonic crystals
maybe red arc thought that osiris did with the photonic crystals, that is using them as a recording medium like the Moon Cell, was dumb

since like in Extella you can see that you can use them as environment generator or Para uses his as a spell analyzer.

I forget, does rin's gemcraft always require to be natural and have spirits in it? Or is that for more like wind and such spells?
Like could just storing use artificial gemstones?

The magecraft that Rin specializes in.Jewels easily accumulate the thoughts of their owners, and make excellent vessels for magical energy.
Crystals that have slumbered beneath the earth for eons, in particular, are prone to having nature spirits form within them, and jewels with that property can be used as simple magic crests. For example, a jewel with a nature spirit of fire dwelling within it would become highly flammable just by passing magical energy through it… or something along those lines.
Whenever Rin has spare time she transfers her magical energy into jewels, turning them into powerful bullets. However, in the end they are merely disposable items.
Because their magecraft reduces expensive jewels to ash after a single use, the Tohsaka magi are fated to be chronically afflicted with a lack of funds.

Seems to me to imply that any old jewel can store magical energy, you just miss out on the innate effects or whatnot if it doesn't have a natural attribute

So was looking up emiya, and jus wanted to make sure. Doesn't emiyas training just involve reinforcement practice, or did he actully constantly try to make new Mage circuits, I don't a lot about emiya besides the wikias so I genuily don't know, and if that's true then isn't that like super dangerous and could kill him? And would probably ruin his Mage circuits?

emiya is scrub mage so he doesnt know hes doing it wrong or that he isnt doing what he think hes doing
