Also, for those that have read Apo, isn't there an entry about how Servants are not necessarily as strong as they were when alive? Could have sworn I saw something about this regarding Karna, but I don't have the Apo LNs to reference.
Besides Gilgamesh's ego (at least I think that's what caused it?), is there any known way a Servant can resist being blackened by the Grail's mud? Would EX Magic Resistance do it?

There's this thing called World Conquest Zvesda. It's written by Meteo though not Nasu.
Girls' Work (although that only half counts, I guess) and Zvesda are TM-affiliated at least

Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.

Mana consuption sounds like the most inconsistent thing I've tried to understand in nasuverse. It's like with Saber against rider, if she doesn't use excalibur, then rin says she'll be gone by morning, but if she does use it, then she can still manage to last a day or two and it's not as much of a rush to recover her mana.
That aside, is there something on summoning a Heroic Spirit as a servant that just puts a limiter on the access they have to their mana reserves? Some of them supposedly have all this near endless mana (like Saber with her dragon core), and I get that for Saber using too much at once would be dangerous if she can only access so much of it because of shirou's lack of connection to supply her with it, but for a regular servant that shouldn't really be a problem at all if they have a regular capable master right?
The amount of Mana they can take is decided by the MGI parameter isn't it?

All of those sound like things that would limit people with idk, Heracles level maybe. The quote posted here implies that using too much of their mana would empty their reserves to the point that they disappear, but I don't see how being physical humans instead of heroic spirits would fix that problem at all? Were people like Siegfried really that much beyond humans before they were even turned into Heroic Spirits?
I always assumed it was the other way around, the parameter being defined by their capacity.
This seems like a silly question.

I mean, isn't a big part of what makes Heroic Spirits so powerful that they are, you know, spirits? That can't even be touched by non-spiritual weapons and stuff? I'm confused by the idea that they would be stronger without that aspect than with it.

Seriousness though it should be mentioned as of Okeanos it has been stated that it is impossible for normal humans to use mana, you either had to be a mage, or born a Hero.

Presumably Karna didn't have to hold back from flying around like a phoenix and roasting countries, let alone using his spear like he has to when summoned by a Master.
