I don't actually translate (mostly) for FGO but the thing is you're going to have mistakes made by any given translator, you're going to have difference of opinion between translators, and lol "people here" also does include people that don't know any different so its not like popular consensus is a foolproof measuring stick as to what to trust

Then what should people trust then? This is a actual question, like people get mad at me for questioning a translation. Then there's this. What should I do?

I DO understand why mashu's shield is a perfect catalyst for it(The round table is a place where heroes gather. that's why we can summon such a wide selection, if I'm correct), but I don't understand WHY its her shield.

Her shield is made from the round table because it's Galahad's NP.

Psuedo servants are servants who use a human vessel to be summoned cause they do not fit the requirements correct? Why are Zhuge liang and muramasa psuedo servants? I get why the goddesses are, but why those two?

Apparently they don't fit the requirements. Not sure if it was elaborated why anywhere.

Learning a language to understand things yourself is already amazing, going further and sharing your understanding of things with the power of translation is saintly.

i dont think that you can summon god's or goddesses, the grail can only grant bodies to the souls from the throne and it was designed that way. god and goddesses are in a different level, you cannot just bind them in the same way as how you bind the heroic spirits using command spells and materialize them aside from that even if the holy grail has intense amount of mana, i dont think it is enough to call omnipotent level beings, that is more the reason that if they will use an artifact related to god's, the one who will be called are the heroic spirit associated with it not the god itself. it can also be a reason why those god's or goddesses when hijacked on the other bodies are like nerfed because aside from the limitations given to them by the world they materialize in, the only supply that can be given to them is on that much.

for grand order, honestly i am just still at london chapter so I haven't much understand it yet aside from the fact that mash's shield is related to Galahad's NP and was used as a catalyst by the organization to transfer there resources from there base to where mash is. i think they just tweak it a little and use it as a summoning tool to call servants that will heed to there cause since the issue right now is the extinction of humanity, so i think anything that can be used to counter that can be used. i am just curious on where they get the mana to sustain it.
