Even an angry person would be confused if they think someone they want to smash is one place rather than another, or they're seeing things that aren't there, or are put back in a place where their beloved creator calls them a monster.

Localizationing stuff
Makes sense. Now that I think about it, Lancelot seeing Artoria is a mental interference of sorts to.
That make Berserk a much better skill than I initially thought how it is.

It probably depends on the nature of the mental interference.
mental pollution gives a probability to shut out mental interference magic
not necessarily outer factor mental interference
plus gilles' reaction probably counts as mental pollution itself jackingup

anw i suppose in bravery mental interference literally got the "no u" treatment, while without it it still affect ME owners, albeit in may be different ways than normally

Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Do mental attacks just bypass Magic Resistance?

actually now that i take a second look the only thing assuredly to be a "magic" is King's Men
First Folio probably is more concept turned NP but not magic

Yeah, that's why I asked in the first place. Ruler has Magic Resistance EX, so I was wondering how First Folio affected her.
Like I looked in to this before asking, and it never occurred to me that First Folio just might not be magecraft at all lol. Thanks.

Spoiler:
I'm guessing Sesto was joking.
Anyway, as much as I can appreciate some good Archer wankery (wink wink nudge nudge), this whole discussion is kind of pointless. If doing what Shirou did with Nine Lives Blade Works was something which Archer could do easily or regularly, he'd have used it at some point in the novel, and yet he doesn't, not even when it seemingly would help his plans (such as, for instance, defeating Cú Chulainn instead of just barely surviving the thrown version of Gáe Bolg). The one time he could have done so without the reader being aware is when he fights Herakles in the Fate route - a fight which he entered knowing he was going to die.
Plus, it's possible the degraded techniques just aren't that useful. Nine Lives Blade Works only worked because Herakles himself was more dead than alive thanks to the Grail corruption, and even then, he basically threw out the fight because of Illya.
Why are people acting like I'm saying anything that isn't obvious? Shirou reaches servant capabilities by not thinking too hard, why should EMIYA suddenly be incapable of doing the same thing with a much smaller ratio.
tbf thinking about stuff too hard is pretty core to EMIYA's skillset.
Mayhaps Shirou was just too dumb to know that he couldn't do that before.
