Yeah, I figured, seemed like a very weird restriction.
Thanks You.

Also i don't have it on me but Garden of Avalon mentions more ages like the age of fairies.
So it's not just AOG and AOM there are different ages speckled in there which are either sub-ages or something else

Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Didn't Extella also reveal there were multiple AoGs?
Babylonia and Extella also mentioned previous Ages of Gods to the one preceding our current era.
With regards to
(Wiki, but correct AFAIK)人間(霊長)と、人間によって築き上げられた文明を滅亡させる大災害、七つの人類悪を滅ぼすため、天の御使 いとして遣わされるその時代最高峰の七騎。
It's not even totally clear what demarcates 時代 anyway, so probably what You said.
'Age of Heroes' was commonly used as a subdivision of AoM since way back, so yeah.
Wasn't there also the thing about Heroic Spirits being the top x of their age? Could even just be, you know, generational.
Localizationing stuff
Yep, it's the bit at the tail end of what I quoted

Now that's interesting, I hope they expand on that soon, right now seems like a good opportunity with the #bringbackaog stuff going on.
Yeah that was one of the reasons I found the restriction weird, even if the statement had some truth in it, why would three different periods be restricted to a single candidate?

Uh, what? Did I miss something about what Saint Graphs are (again)?
talking about a different thing than 霊基グラフ. Probably related to other names for the Holy Grail such as Seven Heavens Artgraph.
You know, I wish Nasu just went on and release an official TM dictionary one of these days. With all the words he keeps making up it's getting a pain to keep track of them.
"Only in my company, will you not be a monster"
anywhere than here
RIP jonnobi
Before we had more context I used to translate 霊基 as Saint Graph based on the Engrish in the FGO game UI. But now it seems like 霊基 is the body/vessel and the graphs are physical cards/anchors/flash drives or something.
