circe or Medea.
mythology wise i think circe would be stronger but things are different in fate, As medea was ranked 5th best magus, And IIRC medea states that she was hecates Best student multiple times.
Though if anyone has an 100% answer i'd love to know.

All of Medea'a offensive magecraft we see her use in SN was taught to her by Circe. Medea majored in healing magecraft, not witchcraft. So yeah Circe.
Still don't know why her Divine Words are B rank instead of A and wish they answer it in the Mats, and not just ignore the discrepancy like it was with Nitocris

There's also the fact that Medea just doesn't really have the right sort of mind for being a witch really.
She's still impressive but I would say Circe is better for sure.
Circe fires one big laser, she doesn't need all the multiple lasers that Medea has. If anime has taught me anything, bigger beams tend to be better.

Hecates the senpai, Circe is the extra- tutor., And it was said multiple times medea was the better student under hecate so thats probably why her rank is higher. For divine words taught by hecate. Circe was the better witch but was she the better magus? fufufu.
The only thing i can recall circe being better at was being a witch. But being a magus doesnt mean being a witch.

WHen speaking to a master, That statement would make no sense if it meant only healing magecrafts. Sure she excelled at healing but thats not all that hecate the goddess of magic taught her.
Circe did teach her some stuff but either way MEdea was the superior student, She just wasnt as evil or witchy as circe.
Also if i can ask whats that title thing under my name? it keeps changing before it was ghoul, and now its living dead.

UNless circe just happens to be 4 it isnt possible.
I believe its either Medea is the better magus, Or they're both equal.
And IIRC, The thing doesnt say "the true prodigy at magic i circe" or anything, it just says the true witch is circe. Though Medea is praised multiple times to be top tier of a magus in the ancient world.

Nvm i just re-checked and it said the prodigy was circe. But idk Medea is still said to be better so idk.
I'm not sure if medea was better with attack magic as a whole maybe circe excelled at that, But i'm sure that medea was hecates beststudent Hence the A rank HSDW, in comparison to her aunts which is B.
