I mean, the Fish God of Sefar is an actual ancient painting IRL, just google it. Nasu just made up the backstory for w/e depicted in that cave painting, so for the nasuverse plebs they would know about a legend of a big bunny waifu 14000 years ago while those with higher and deeper knowledge would know about the deeper stuffs.

So you're saying Nasuverse plebs would know a being called Sefar did in fact come to attack Earth 14,000 years ago, but the specifics like her being a Titan from the Umbral Star, her Anti-Cell properties, and some of the other deeper stuff is only known to those with access to arcane knowledge/old records?

Also, yes I did look up the actual Sefar wall paintings, and the ruins seem quite cool even without a Nasuverse invented backstory.

I'm pretty sure in our real world it's theorized the White Entity in the wall is some sort of ancient deity. So the backstory of it being a Proto God Slayer isn't too farfetched. The part of it being a harbinger from a Star Eater like Qualia from Chaos Rings on the other hand...

Of course, I know it's theorized the white entity is some sort of ancient diety, I was mostly referring to the latter when I said "Nasuverse invented backstory".

Fucked up how nearly every instance Shirou or EMIYA appeared they replicate Excalibur even though it shouldn't be replicatable.

Thing about that is, Excalibur isn't made by actual gods. Just fairies. And the planet, I guess.

IMHO it's more likely to be in the same class as Excalibur (especially since IIRC Extella calls the sword of Mars Excalibur's Prototype) ie- still a divine construct, still can't be projected, but because it's not protected by ancient Babylonian DRM Shirou wouldn't BSOD from seeing it.

Excalibur is still a human thing, though. Made by fairies and planet, sure, but it was given to humans and is supposed to be used by humans. Ea & the sword of Mars are straight-up god tools, made by gods, wielded by gods, and you better hope he don't point it at you.

Eh I don’t know about that, there isn’t much difference between Gods and the planet, they all fall under the same banner. Ea is unique on many levels in that it didn’t just come from the gods

Exactly. Ea is a unique case because it's protected by ancient Babylonian DRM that specifically says "NO U" to anyone that isn't Gil.

Like, we never see Shirou have the same reaction to Excalibur (Despite it being non-replicable). Hell, he even had less trouble replicating the Gem Sword then he did Ea.

The Gem Sword he had to give himself an aneurysm because he couldn't understand what was there, Ea just gave him a flat nothing.

It's hard to picture the Lion King talking with random soldiers—specially when Agravain didn't even allow the Knights to hold an audience—, and that she decided to talk to them about Sefar, the 14000 years old scourge of Gods that has no connection at all with anything that's going on in Camelot.

I can picture Lion King doing it like how a lot of godly beings are portrayed spouting a bunch of meaningful munbo jumbo in timely intervals but it's definitely a shoehorn reference.

About Rhongomyniad, how exactly was it created, and when did it take on its role as the tower pinning the Age of Man to the World? Also, since it turns its wielders into Divine Spirits over time and has its own personality, is it just a Divine Construct, or is it also a Divine Spirit? Also, would it be able to fight Sefar?

We don't really know much about how Rhon was made iirc but given that the White Titan managed to curbstomp entire pantheons it Sefar to assume it would win.
