Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Mana is magical energy. But magical energy isnt just mana. Magical energy is just magical energy as the name implies. Mana is magical energy that suffuses the atmosphere while its counterpart Od is magical energy that is created from you body
"Only in my company, will you not be a monster"
anywhere than here
Magical energy is a overarching term referring to two things. Mana is the magical energy from the planet, and od is the magical energy from humans. Mages' magic circuits are used to convert od, or sometimes mana but usually od, into magical energy for spells.
Because magical energy is a mouthful some people call the umbrella term "prana" instead but that's a fan term, not something that the actual text has ever used. It's still common enough that people know what you're talking about when you use it though. The Japanese word is maryoku.
Actually did I mix up which source between mana and od is used more often?

well the text has used prana for sexual energy

life energy is converted into magical energy by circuits.
You get life energy from yourself (usually not the best of ideas) or from the planet/environment around you.
Mana is the energy of the environment. Od is your own stuff.
I don't hate it.
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
o okay thank you everyone.
what do the hidden attributes mean?
Like heaven, earth, human etc
Basically the categorical type the Heroic Spirit is. E.g. Heaven means the person is related to the gods or divinities of the heavens, Earth means the person is related to mythology, folklore, legends, etc., perpetuated throughout the earth, and human means the person is a historical person regarded as heroes by humanity.
heaven = divine stuff
earth = folktale, mythological but not divine, fairy-ish
human = historical, close to historical

Lol it's ok, you're more concise. But I do wanted to add something that people may not notice.
For example, did anyone know that those related to the land of death/death gods are classified as Earth instead of Heaven since the underworld is more attuned to the earth than the heavens?
Did anyone know that those who are Star attributed would have usually fallen into the Humans attribute based on what kind of HS they are?
I think that's really neat.
Star attributed Spirits are those who were responsible or presided over a time of change for humanity, right?

that's a Grecian concept
but like the pattern is a lot more culturally diverse and older than just Greek mythology
It's the idea that death in those cultures is related to the fertility of the land. Osiris for instance or DoomZ
