It depends on the Servant, but sometimes there's also secondary passive buffs like Mash giving her Master poison resistance.

Also, of course, if you happen to get Command Spells then those have their own uses as well.

Servant's can also do normal familiar stuff like letting a master see through their eyes and stuff (which is how Kirei knew how CA!Hassan's NP worked in HF)

I know Kirei intended to screw over Lancer from the beginning, but based on this and Zero, he REALLY sucks at scouting, or at least between Zero and FSN, he inherited Tokiomi's ideas about scouting combined with his own For the Evulz tendencies.

do we know if there is a difference in NP power between a full chant release and a simple true name release?

Well NPs dont have chants so nothing.

The only time that applies is when said NP is a magic spell like UBW, other then that just the True Name is sufficient.

I thought UBW wasn't a true NP but just the pinnacle of Archer's Thaumaturgy skill?

That's just fluff, totally unneeded. It's the same how Iskandar gave his army a big introduction in Zero, it's just a introduction meant to hype up their NPs.

The necessity of a chant is directly proportional to how dramatic the fight is.

    NPs don't need chants.
But they're cool heroes so they chant anyway.

Editing an avatar is one of the options available in the settings section of your user profile. But keep in mind, it might not be available until you make around ten posts or so here.

I think some other guys already asked this, but I don't know the real answer, so... Is it correct "Ionioi Hetairoi" or "Aionion Hetairoi"? Because, from what I've been told from friends who study greek, "Aionion", although singular, means "eternal", so "eternal companions" sounds good, while "Ionioi" doesn't seem to have a link to Iskandar or the Companions. I read someone saying it means "the Companions of the king of Ionia", but I asked my friends I talked about before and it does not.
So, did Aniplex mistranslated the Noble Phantasm's name? However, it is true that without the exact greek spelling Urobuchi transliterated, we can't do much, but if one of you guys can help me, I'd really appreciate that.
Since I'm writing this, does anyone know if also "Knight of Owner" is written wrongly? Because I've watched the trailers of Fate/Zero ufotable made, and I saw that they wrote "Knight of Honor", not "Knight of Owner" as we call it now. I think that Urobuchi made an error when he wrote "Honor" in katakana, and it resulted in "Owner", since the japanese pronunciations are the same, but they are written differently.

    Thanks in advance.

pretty sure Ionioi is the correct translation.

And yes it has wrong meaning, but that's probably was a research error.

And Knight of Owner is correct, that is at least how it is written in Japanese, and has been like that for all of the official written material for it in Japanese from what I am aware.

Huh you know what, checking the romanization it actually seems like that.

Welp if that true then their is a lot of correction that must be done.

So do you really think utotable wrote "Honor" in roman letters by mistake?
