Yeah.
The cutting light thing is mistranslation of 光の断層による「究極の斬撃」(The "ultimate slash" by means of light dislocation). The "cut through anything" is not even there in the original text so idk where that even came from.

What exactly does Nothingness/the other Imaginary Element that isn't Imaginary Numbers do?
We have some vague hints and shows but I can't really figure it out or find anything concrete.
Hollow = something which is possible but does not exist in the material world [imaginary numbers]Originally Posted by CM3, the two imaginary elemental attributes
Nothingness = something which is materialised despite being impossible. a different sense of 'nothingness' from that employed in physics & mathematics
it is a mystery dot jpg. as far as i recall we have never encountered a magus with 無 affinity

Strictly speaking, the only living Servants are ones who incarnated like Gilgamesh in Fate/Stay Night or Amakusa Shirou in Fate/Apocrypha. This is also why you have all those themes across the franchise about how the dead should not decide for the living and thus Servants tend to not interfere too much with mortal affairs until they get a new lease at life.
Or, I dunno, that might be a mistranslation or related to her being an Alter Ego or related to the Alien God somehow. There's a lot of options and I don't know Japanese.
it was always 'the holy sword' or its wielder that was referenced, but never outright said to be Excalibur
Why exactly is MHXX a Foreigner?
FWIW the recent Arthur's interlude in FGO had him introducing himself as the holy sword wielder of the modern era. It seems that there was a holy sword wielder back in the days who blasted bunny titan using a holy sword similar to Excalibur and king Arthur is the current wielder of it. Proto Excalibur?

I mean, I get the joke, but still...
Because she's a shift-working police officer from another planet in another universe, so technically she gives off the same reading as a Foreigner. That's the gist of it anyway.
