Well I don't have an issue with that. Even if one Servant will beat another most of the time, they wouldn't win every single time unless they're far superior. My issue is too many of those fights don't make sense. If Artoria has Avalon and infinite energy she should never lose to Emiya...okay I guess one in a hundred times he might Gae Bolg her. But Gil shouldn't be losing any of those fights without heavy context and neither should Lu if he's as powerful as said in this thread.

The thing is that in Extella there are way more mechanics playing then it would normally. As Mizukume said, theit are Moon Crux's and Moon Drive that is essentially putting your Servants into a super mode by supplying them with Mana by the Moon Cell, their are Extella Maneuvers that are special Anti-Army skills they give you so you take multiple opponents at once, and then theirs Phantasm Circuits that by collecting them will turn your NP into Anti-Army and if it's already is it boosts it more. This really shows the work that went into to this when they took every gameplay mechanic that would normally be irrelvent to the actual elements of the story and give them all a lore description.

Isn't the Extella gauge is just the magical energie that is needed to do it? Those sake are probably just magical energy coded as that item. After all that's what I assume all drops to be.

Wouldn't age of God magecraft have been weaker in its time period since everyone or at least the majority knew or at least beleaved Mage craft existed,candy therefor AoG Mage craft would have less mystery compared to modern Mage craft, or did AoG Mage craft not use or rely heavily on mystery.

Male is from FGO worldline, we never see him. Female is from ??? pruned worldline who's been hopping between worldlines and we meet her.

What's the deal with the male/female Musashis in EoR again?

Male Musashi: Is the Musashi in Shimousa, at his 50s and already dying. Base on "Kojirou"'s dialogue he seems dying 10 years early, probably cuz Shimousa is a subcategory parallel world that is singularity-like so difference in history that he dies earlier than real male Musashi. He's in Reigan cave on mount Kingou waiting for his nemesis. After "Kojirou" dueled with female Musashi he found male Musashi in the cave and told him about the duel. Then male Musashi died.

Female Musashi: Similar to Avenger Amakusa case where she's not servant but living human traveled from a pruned timeline to FGO timeline. Yet to reach the apex of Niten Ichiryuu but got it by the end of the chapter. Base on her My Room dialogue she probably touched a grail and got world hopping power.

It's how the universe avoids its heat death since the amount of energy in existence is finite. Treat history and all of its possibilities like a tree. It all comes out from a trunk, and each divergence in history, or worldline, is a new branch. Since energy is finite, every so often worldlines that don't have humanity survive or develop past the next 100 years are denied energy and eliminated a.k.a. pruned. These points of pruning are quantum time locks, key points in history that must happen as they generally do, and are what Goetia broke trying to undo history for his master plan.

I've undoubtedly missed a few nuances but that's the gist of it.
