1) FSN Archer sold his soul to Alaya, hence after that Alaya, the power that ensure mankind continual existence makes him do cleanup jobs
Extra Archer sold his soul to Moon Cell, hence after that Moon Channel, the ultimate observation tool, makes him do.... what exactly?
Maybe this is explained ingame, but i dont remember and checking ingame text for Extra using the game itself is kinda hard.

2) is jeanne, technically speaking, a counter guardian?
like, in life she was described by somebody (uh ToukoIIRC?) as being instigated by "something" so do Hero stuffs, but does that make her drafted as CG as a Servant/HS?

3) when is technique classified as technique and when is it classified as "sublimated" NP
like, where do you draw the line?

Depends on the magus. Remember this is the society that you can be called a "failure" even if you can crack skulls with the strongest beings of the planet and some parents send their children for adoption to knowingly evil ancient mummies and believe they will get training from them.

Its kind of interesting to pin down what makes a traditional or radical magus because the criteria changes wildly, and the society works in ass backwards ways sometimes.

First, this is only an inference from people that don't actually know her, so a case of unreliable narrator. The example is Mikiya thinking "oh yeah, well, for instance, this lines up with the idea that someone like Joan of Arc could've been influenced by the Counter Force, we don't actually know this is a fact, just that it's a convenient example of a nobody that is influential enough in the circumstances to possibly be that kind of deterrent."

Second, she's still just referenced as a regular Heroic Spirit. EMIYA and EMIYA and EMIYA are the only actual confirmed CGs I think?

Third, if anyone just affected by the Counter Force were then drafted as a CG, we shouldn't probably consider it strange that Ryougi is a Servant in FGO and also probably should be joking about how there ought to be a ginger track and field CG that should be summonable.

And lastly
