Jalter has good damage output but there's no statement I can think of for how powerful she's supposed to be and she has a really bad track record thus far. She needs Fafnir to be a serious threat.

so, regarding BB's Authority that negates all damage, what was the justification that each character got for bypassing it?

I know that with Gil it had something to do with unlocking his Origin (or something sort of related to that) and I assume that Tamamo's case had to do with how Amaterasu isnt from Eart, but i would like a more in depth explanation for all characters, if possible.

All the characters unlock their origin to do so, not only Gil. For Tamamo's case her origin just happens to be the Sun Goddess. Basically the explanation they give for Him applies to them all
