How rare/common would it be for the 'average' magus to know memory-erasing or mind control spells? Both Aoko and Alice don't appear to know memory erase rune, though it could be because Aoko is an amateur and there's no reason for Alice to learn since she has no problem killing people.

He can only counter GoB insofar as Gil is playing softball with him. It's like what he was doing early on to Shirou, just throwing out a few, and Nasu said Lance could only keep up because of ME. Serious Gil murderizes him.
