I saw this on another forum but apparently like a scientist was mentioned in extella that could be summoned but cannot due to the harways outlawing space travel or whatever. I want to know if this was true and what his name was.

I'm not gonna sit through 1hour 45mins of the vid to find the quote so can you give me the timestamp so I can check it with the Japanese version?
So Von Braun, presumably Werner von Braun, inventor of the V2 rocket. Now Arty says he disappeared, but Nero was asking about a servant? So does that mean that he failed to become a heroic spirit cause the Harways froze the space program, or is it part of the Moon Cell's Save feature and the possibility of Von Braun the heroic spirit was removed when they did that? It's very vague as to how/what effect the Harways could have on someone becoming a heroic spirit if Arty knows of them.
In Extra's Earth history, Braun probably has the same background like in our world, like making rockets and such. But in Extra's history, the 1970 great collapse that caused industrial regression and the rise of Harway...etc made it alot harder for the guy to work. Harway shutting down the space program means all of Braun's research are gone and the man no longer relevant. It's just Archimedes talking about the history of Extra's Earth and how the space program ban made poor von Braun irrelevant. Who knows if that incident prevented him from becoming a HS or not lol.
Seems strange to bring him up though, as he died in 77 IIRC so most of his work would still be the same regardless of how the timeline changed from that point on. He retired from nasa in 72 and we still don't know the exact year the collapse occured so he could have still retired in that timeline.

I don't think it's strange. Nero asked about a guy related to rockets so Archimedes, as one of Nasu's infodump character, answered "oh I know this one guy!" then added "oh btw random extra world reference for you nerds in this world poor guy disappeared after space program shutdown what a shame!".

To me it's just one of those references to Extra's world setting.
So why are you associating him with a scene from Dr. Strangelove about a bomb?
It's our duty to be historically accurate, where Nasu isn't.
What would have happened if Rule Breaker was used on Adam?
RB doesn't work on nps.
