Asterios' Labyrinth seems like it's basically straight out of Etrian Odyssey, if the valentine's CE is any indication:

I think the justification for that is how his NP gets it's difficulty from the degree of fame for the concept of Labyrinth, and since this is a japanese game it does make sense in context.

Just traps them, but the maze probably has all the elements you think there would be in a dungeon, so traps, mooks, Loot, and a roving Boss-class monster that will tear you a new one.

Well if it has to with her eyes, I'd like to say I would block her vision? Hide yourself then attack? But even after reading the skill again and again, I don't know if it's completely vision-based.
