Is there any supplemental material that talks about the Velber in non-Extra worlds? We know Sefar is part of common history, and that the Moon Cell is part of Extra history only. So it would seem the Velber should also be Extra only. My current headcanon is that Moon Cell shenanigans caused her to be projected into all worlds at once.

In Extra worlds Sefar's ship crashed into the moon, she was uploaded onto the Moon Cell, and then she used the Moon Cell to 3D print a physical body on Earth. Presumably outside Extra worlds she landed on Earth directly.

I would imagine an ecounter with crimson moon would be a quite hellish nightmare for Sefar!

in a side note: Moonspeak is too extraterrastrial, so it makes sense it's not a real language.

Can you even summon a Servant with just a un/naturally dense leylines that stringing together to one point where the denseness can be touched/felt directly, or do you need another goddamn Grail so that it can works?

  6. #145206
I’m not sure you know what a leyline is.either way even if you have a hefty flow and source of energy it’s also a matter of your output. There’s only so much your circuits can process at once and handle.

Summoning a Servant without the Grail is 'possible' in theory if you have the magecraft know-how and enough energy, but realistically speaking you're probably not going to pull it off unless you basically do the equivalent of making your own Grail knockoff to do that, given that

    Case Files stuff
Heartless had to remote access Fuyuki's Grail and used an Einnashe fruit as an energy source to pull the whole thing off, and he's hardly an amateur.

Who knows. Brunestud was the king of the moon until something happened and he became the only thing left on the moon. Sefar is a fair guess for what could possibly have killed the moon.

I'm assuming you're referring to this.

Reminder that the Zelretch-CM showdown happened in the past of Fate, since Rin knows about it, even though it's presented as the backstory for Tsuki. That already doesn't make sense due to what Zelretch actually did in there, which strongly implies all of the events taking place in a singular timeline which as we now know they don't, and you have to hide behind something something quantum time lock to make that make sense. It still means that CM's kingdom 'losing everything' is consistent across timelines. The idea seems to be that CM giving his feed and seed to Gaia still happens in a strong human order world, eventually culminating in the aforementioned event, but none of the TAs make it, and DAAs aren't even possible. You don't get a proper 'moonlit world' because the apostles all get hunted down successfully.

Then you have to ask how this makes sense with the Moon Cell's backstory, and whether CM's kingdom is even going to be a thing with the Moon Cell being there in the first place. It really does not help matters that Rin uses an animation of the gem sword in Extra. Neither does warc hanging around as a servant. Tsuki no Sango, and the whole moon computer bit of it only makes everything more confusing, too. From what I can gaher, it stands that all the plot elements cooexist simultaneously somehow to form up something in the future each bit, so you can't just say oh the ancient alien from outer space hit this bit or that bit, and be actually stating anything.

It's almost like there was something established first as the setting's universal background, and then moon cell messes with it hard, and then velber is a plot element that somebody just pulled out of their ass without thinking, that the thing wasn't originally written around, huh.

I don't see your problem. TAs definitely still exist in Fate timelines, and there's no reason the same event, Zelrecht defeating CM, couldn't have happened in two separate time trees (there's also the fact that he is known as the Solo). Also, there's no inconsistency if CM doesn't exist in Extra timelines because again, separate Time Tree, and in non-Extra timelines, Sefar likely just landed on Earth directly and got killed, no buts about it.

That is actually the stupidest part, because it means he was on some sort of a streak where he hopped multiple universes with his single self, and beat up multiple different Types.

    it's really not that complicated

side material, a fate dictionary, says that zelretch fought the king of the vampires and stopped the moondrop -> crimson moon exists in mainline fate worlds
10th anniversary q&a says that the moon cell only exists in extra and has nothing to do with CM -> ignore extra entirely
corollary 1, no moon cell -> no creators of the moon cell -> no velber; BOOM
corollary 2, extra material says for blut die schwester that the embodiment of the moon became the planet's sense of touch -> elementals with moon ancestry in gaia's counter force [ie. true ancestors?])
no dead apostle ancestors ≠ no true ancestors, but rather no organisation originating in the rebellion of the bloodbags of the true ancestors
tsuki no sango is set in the future, and silicon-tan is an artificial brain of the moon, so it has no bearing

the reason why dead apostle ancestors didn't become a thing most probably has to do with how they are affected by the strength of human order, whatever that means, but assuming they were killed off is still a leap of logic

More specifically the brain of the moon from this QandA
Q: Is there any relationship between the Moon Cell and the Crimson Moon? Does the Moon Cell exist in universes outside of EXTRA?

A: Moon cell is something that is only in EXTRA, and it does not have anything to do with the Crimson Moon. However, in the world of EXTRA, the "Brain of the Planet" who is equivalent to the Crimson Moon should still be living somewhere.

what tmdict refers to as "the embodiment of the Moon," the subject of the sentence is Arc, the thing that originated from the brain of the moon and spent a lot of time as the planet's sense of touch.
