It would seem the original gae bolg does have the causality reversal. Since Scathach was trying to make a spear that would kill her. The causality reversal is what makes this weapon unhealable.
What Cu did was use the causality reversal aspect into the heart-hitting aimbot curse with a localized explosion of thorns.
It seems like the original use for Cu was just a throwing anti-army and all it did was if it hit you, you couldn't heal the wounds but the reason why it couldn't heal the wounds was causality reversal.

The original Gae Bolg is actually a throwing weapon, and is anti-army rather than anti-personnel.

I have some issue with the FSN VN on mac, in UBW my game quits after the opening, which by the way is just a black screen with sound sometimes... I've heard you can use LAV filter, but this is just for windows... So, is there any way to fix this on mac? Even the links for mac on reddit lead to something deleted so I'm getting a little desperate here :'(.

Quertz I can see tho I have my doubts on the other Goddesses.

Quetz is probably grouped in the category of Divine Spirit-class Servant. In Extra we only had one of that class (Tamamo) and according to the mats only those of that class can nullify the arena firewall. And then when FGO came around we have a bunch of those popping up as pseudo or in class container themselves. There was also a statement that only divine spirit class servants can match Nobu in Japan (which is quite funny tbh, considering her niche). Whether divine spirit class can be considered Top Servant candidate or not I don't know. But I would say no cuz the whole 大英雄.

i'm new here so i don't know if this is the right place to ask a question but here is my question. why fate apo considered as the worst fate franchise? the servant presented are quite solid (maybe) even though karna achilles can pretty much single handedly win everything and a random emiya shirou but much worst pop out of nowhere but the other thing quite fun to see. i'm new with this franchise since all i know is fsn eroge and fgo(without any knowledge about the story) so i'm pretty much newbie on fate lorewise so please spare me some info or spoiler on fate apo bad side?

Welcome to the forum. And to answer your question, "it's opinions". Me for example don't consider it the worst entry of the franchise. That title goes to Last Encore. But there will be ppl who disagree with that and it's normal.
