+ Value? For what? The only thing i remember is his clairvoyance but that has Beauty in parenthesis attached to it, so that should tell you when he get's a boost.

As Servants, I can see Penny being trouble for him. She has Goddess of War to raise her Divinity, and an NP dedicated to killing him, plus the psychological advantage.

Pent seems regretful about she couldn't make it in time to act as his reinforcements and seems to respect him from her voicelines, but then again he counts as a greek hero for her abilites so I don't know what's up with that.

I think him counting as a greek hero is game mechanics. It makes no sense given he was literally the opponent of the Greeks.

Off the top of my head: Herakles, Cú Chulainn, possibly "Strange/Fake" 's True Rider.
Oh, and Chiron puts up a good fight, obviously, even though Achilles wins. It would be interesting to see if Chiron in his true form as a centaur would fare better.

Reading over the materials, I'm a little unclear how Sanson's NP actually works. Is it a curse type like Paralyzing Heartbeat? That would be the only way it being more effective on certain Servants makes sense, because it wouldn't need a power boost to cut a Servant in half unless it's one of the super durable ones. I would imagine it has a better chance of hitting a target if they fail the execution check, but in that case wouldn't it be like Gae Bolg where luck and Instinct could also defend against it?

Also the consensus in the versus thread a while ago is it would work on Emiya, but his execution isn't actually in any anecdotes and he's not a Heroic Spirit who's power gets affected by his legends, so logically it shouldn't work?

Also do we know if it causes instant death or just cuts the opponent's head off, which could be healed from by Spartacus and a few others?

Le Mort Espoir has shadow hands to drag a Servant under a guillotine so there's no worries about it missing. Also It's not a curse, it says in the description that even having a resistance to curses won't save you from it so that cross's that out and honestly that wouldn't really fit with Sanson's theme. Also while Emiya isn't a proper HS that's still how he died so I don't know if he suffers a disadvantageous check.

As for the instant death, I don't know. I don't it was really ever mentioned what actually the specifics of you dying by the guillotine other than you get decapitated.

Also when the NP against certain Servants, it's not that it get's stronger, it's that the targets have a harder time resisting.

The thing I'll always argue is that it isn't those that died by execution as it is those with an anecdote of dying by execution. Emiya doesn't have an anecdote of anything because his legend is he has no legend.

I guess so, I still have my doubts about but I don't think we will ever see Emiya vs Sanson in a story so there won't be any concrete answers about it.
